Celtic inflict a defeat on the Rumanian champions this time and actually looked like a different side compared with the one that lost the crucial CL quali play off much earlier in the footie season. Edouard scoring the opening goal and giving the Hoops some comfort on the "front foot". So 4 pts acquired so far and Celtic currently "in a good place" in their EL group.

So the 8 teams in the 100 have been announced. They will have women and men's teams and they have drafted players today for the teams.
Birmingham Phoenix - Chris Woakes, Moeen Ali, Pat Brown, Amy Jones, Kirstie Gordon
London Spirit - Rory Burns, Dan Lawrence, Eoin Morgan, Heather Knight, Freya Davies
Manchester Originals - Jos Buttler, Saqib Mahmood, Matt Parkinson, Kate Cross, Sophie Ecclestone
Northern Superchargers - Ben Stokes, Adil Rashid, David Willey, Lauren Winfield, Linsey Smith
Oval Invincibles - Sam Curran, Tom Curran, Jason Roy, Laura Marsh, Fran Wilson
Southern Brave - Jofra Archer, Chris Jordan, James Vince, Anya Shrubsole, Danni Wyatt
Trent Rockets - Joe Root, Harry Gurney, Alex Hales, Nat Sciver, Katherine Brunt
Welsh Fire - Jonny Bairstow, Tom Banton, Colin Ingram, Katie George, Bryony Smith
Birmingham Phoenix will play at Edgbaston, there catchment area is Warwickshire and Worcestershire
London Spirit will play Lord's, there catchment area is Middlesex, Essex and Northants
Manchester Originals will play at Old Trafford, there catchment area is Lancashire
Northern Superchargers will play at Headingley, there catchment area is Yorkshire and Durham
Oval Invincibles will play at The Oval, there catchment area is Surrey and Kent
Southern Brave will play at Ageas Bowl, there catchment area is Hampshire and Sussex
Trent Rockets will play at Trent Bridge, there catchment area is Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire
Welsh Fire will play at Sophia Gardens, there catchment area is Glamorgan, Gloucestershire and Somerset
I can't see any Liverpudlian who goes watches Lancashire getting behind the 'Manchester Originals'. The names are so rubbish and all the teams have been sponsored by a crisp or snack company. In my opinion the whole thing has been created for the 'non-cricket fans' to get them interested. This will not help County level and it certainly will not help the England test side. Also why have London got 2 teams?

Okay, I've been backing OGS even during his poor results. I must say though, if we can't beat AZ Alkmaar, something seriously bad is going on. To me, this is a final straw before I join the OGS out campaign!

And so, having equalled the record nine-game unbeaten start to a season recorded by their predecessors in both 1953 and 1999, Albion couldn't quite strike out into uncharted territory at Elland Road; but it wasn't for lack of trying. In a complete reverse of the situation twelve months ago, we've gone from being a team with two great forwards and not much else, to a team with everything else except two great forwards. It's much too early to say whether the end result of this will be the same, but at the very least, logic suggests that a jigsaw missing two pieces is a lot easier to complete than a jigsaw missing nine.
That said, until those pieces turn up, we've got to carry on stringing together results as best we can. Having spent a large part of last autumn grumbling over uninspired performances and sighing relief that Barnes and Gayle had dug us out of one hole or another, this autumn could potentially have a few more nights like Tuesday: delight at the kind of performance we haven't seen in years, coupled with frustration that the lack of a cutting edge left us without a reward for it. Certainly, before the international break distracts us all again, we've got at least one more tricky hurdle to clear on Saturday as relegated Cardiff visit the Hawthorns.
It's been an iffy start to the campaign for the Bluebirds, who've been strong at home but remain winless on the road coming into this weekend. Any hope we might take from that is countered somewhat by the sheer wobbliness of Albion's own recent fortunes against Cardiff. Amongst the many memorable miseries inflicted on us by the Welshmen on home soil alone is that League Cup win in September 2007 when Robbie Fowler had them 4-0 up inside half an hour, a hapless 2-0 defeat on a freezing night in December 2009, and the last-second equaliser in a 3-3 draw in 2014, which resulted in James Morrison punching Saido Berahino in the face. (Not enough times, frankly). In the meantime we managed a 4-2 victory in the FA Cup in January 2012 - a closer game than the final score suggested - and a whole string of hard-fought draws; in fact, you have to go back to February 2007 for the last Baggies league win against City, courtesy of a top-corner strike from "Duke" Ellington. That's a lot of rough going in a fixture which has often been played in a quasi-derby atmosphere.
More of the same on Saturday? Well, I doubt they'll make it easy for us, and we probably won't make it easy for ourselves either. But if we can bounce back from Tuesday and just find that killer pass in and around the box, we could be going into the break with some serious momentum behind us...

SMILIES/BALLS
Bonus Ball
Score Ball, Free to use Ball , play it on a game that you think both teams will score in !
Gamball,
New Scoring System
Incorrect Result = 0 point
Incorrect Result (Bonus Ball) = -3 * Changed from -2
Incorrect Result (Gamball) = -3
[/color]
Score Ball = 1 added Point if both teams score. !
Correct Result = +2 points
Correct Result (Bonus Ball) = +3
Correct Result (Gamball) = +5 * Changed from +4
Correct Score = + 4 points
Correct Score (Bonus Ball) = +6
Correct Score (Gamball) = +10 * Changed from +8
As you can see the incorrect scoring has not really changed apart from a wrong Bonus this will be now scored at -3 instead of -2 the reason for this are the gains on the new Gamball scoring you will make (see below) in the hope this encourages you to use it most if not all of the time.
So to the Gamball, the use of the Gamball was tactically not used in some cases last season as the gains we not considered to great compared to the losses, it's for this reason we have decided to change the scoring, The loss will stay the same at -3 but the reward will be a correct result will go up by one from 4 to 5 points and the correct score will go up by 2 from 8 to 10 points !!!
Just a reminder you DO NOT have to play the Gamball if you dont want too, the score will then be marked normal.
Again the third from bottom of the premiership will play off against the third in the table from the Championship to keep even more excitement going, they will have to predict through all the Playoffs and the winner obviously takes their place in the Premier League the following season
Beefy, Bomber, Zinman & SCO
If you do not predict,...........
If in your league everyone scores above zero you will receive Zero points,
However if in your league the person with the lowest score is below Zero (eg -4) you will score -5 and receive your first strike, Remember 3 strikes and you're out.
All scores must be in before MIDDAY SATURDAY,(For The Early Kick Off If Applicable) If the early kick off is missed the rest of your predictions must reach us by 2.45pm or none will be counted.

Aberdeen will be "licking their wounds after a 5-0 thrashing at Ibronx in their previous Premiership fixture. So I'd love to see Hibs "take advantage" of this negative position leading in to the game on Saturday afternoon. However, I'm a realist and can't see Hibs winning this match with our current players, particularly up front where we are lacking a lotta quality and goals! IMO a "smash n grab" victory looks like our only realistic option. Therefore another "backs to the wall" plan looks "in order" with a focus on not losing goals and picking up any valuable points that we can gain. I'd love to see our strikers performing, even one goal from any striker, because it is a huge issue and failing that must be redressed asap as the Jan transfer "window" is too distant.

It is said on the BBC Sports Website that unfortunately Leko was racially abused by the Leeds goalkeeper. The authorities are investigating. If found guilty the player will be suspended for a minimum of 6 games.
My view is that this is not sufficient. How about a 12 match ban, loss of wages whilst banned ( with the money going to good local causes) & back to school for every day of the ban to be taught that there is no place for racism in any walk of life, especially for the few people of society who are held up to be role models. Your thoughts please.
