Following our proud tradition of producing goalkeepers no-one will be able to say that Aaron Ramsdale didn't learn to catch anything at Chesterfield.

"If you are an aspiring young footballer, or you know someone who is, there are opportunities to get involved with a professional club following the formation of the new Chesterfield FC Youth Academy.
Operated by Chesterfield FC Community Trust, the academy will take part in a National League programme with youngsters training and playing in matches while receiving full-time education.
Applications are invited from 18-year-old players who have been released from Football League clubs as well as local players of sufficient standard who would like the opportunity of a year’s full-time football training alongside a flexible education programme, giving them the chance of progression into a full-time football club.

To qualify, you will need to be under the age of 19 on September 1. For further information, please email neilcluxton@spireitestrust.org.uk or phone Neil on 07765 972348."

Well that looks as though someone thinks the club has a future. It is even a good idea. Should it be on our website?

With clubs about to go bankrupt, how many will fail ?
How many players will be thrown on to the scrap heap ?
Will clubs adopt the 20 man squads that are being proposed ?

Looks like an ever increasing number of players will be chasing fewer places ?

what does everone else think ?

  Cummings World Tour

How the hell did we end up with the lying gobshite Bonking Boris leading us? His press briefing tonight just beggared belief. Public opinion is about 80-20 for Cummings to go but he stands there defending him. Cummings must have something really big on him. He just lost the next election in 20 minutes.

A club statement and an uncertain future!!

Hibs naturally appreciative of the support and generosity of the fans but there is still a huge element of uncertainty re the future of the game in Scotland and what form it will take when some kinda formal start to season 2020-21 is granted by the Scottish govt. Interesting times ahead!

As Baggies fans, we love Psalm 23 and the atmosphere at the Hawthorns for the Villa play off last year was one of the best I have ever seen or experienced but I think its hard to beat this for passion and love for your club, all combined with one of the best songs I think has been written in the last 15 years.

I post it because its four years to the day that Hibs won the Scottish Cup, breaking a barren spell of only 114 years Smile . For those of us who live in Scotland, the fact that they beat Rangers made it just that bit sweeter.

I just love this because it shows just how much your club means to you, whether you're a Baggie or a Hibee

Hope you enjoy it.....HibeeJim, it's particularly for you!
