  Milan Butterfield
Posted by: spireitematt - 19-08-2020, 23:20 - Forum: Chesterfield - Replies (10)

Signed Milan Butterfield from Kidderminster Harriers. He's a midfielder, 22 years of age and is 6ft 4' apparently. Sounds like he could make a great target man at set-pieces and could cause defenders a problem.

  Our Expectations 2020/21

I have no expectations this season. Relegation has to be the reality.
As long as we play attractive football and cause a few bloody noses along the way, while strengthening the squad is perfectly acceptable. Staying financially secure while many clubs fold will be a success no matter where we finish in the PL..

A "stroll in the park" for Celtic v Rejkavik!
Posted by: 0762 - 18-08-2020, 22:40 - Forum: Celtic - Replies (1)

The Bhoys inflicting a "doing" on the Icelanders tonight in the 1st quali round of the Champions League and 5-0 with a couple of mins to go - far too easy. They move on to the next round prob v Ferencvaros.

  Sevilla 2 United 1 - Man U lose a record 3rd semi-final!
Posted by: 0762 - 16-08-2020, 23:22 - Forum: Manchester United - No Replies

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/live/football/53257971

How United lost this 3rd semi-final in a row is absolutely beyond me and that will make this defeat even more sickening from the players' and fans' point of view. So many scoring chances and OK, the Sevilla goalie "played a blinder" but United should've still won this match with a bit to spare. And that winning goal? I finally concur that Maguire and Lindelöf are not good enough for United. Poss ditch one or other, or both, and buy some really good central defenders who do not lose these kinda soft goals.
