2 points for a correct result
4 points for a correct score
2 points for each correct scorer
Correct joker doubles your score
Wrong joker result gives you minus 2
Only one joker per round of games
Correct Random Badger gives you 2 points
The random badger is used for any random prediction used once in each matchday sequence. For instance, a scorer at a particular match, the number of red cards in the matches or yellow cards or own goals or owt you want really within reason, I do need to be able to check whether it's correct or not. Please don't put stuff like....."Commentator says...."
The joker is played for one match in each sequence and if correct you get double points. So if you've predicted 1-0 and it finishes 2-0, you get 4 pts, but if you've predicted 2-0, that's 8 pts. But if you get it wrong, it's minus 2.
Jokers and badgers are optional. You don't have to play one if you don't want.
Prediction League Play Off matches:
In the event of a draw, it's half the points if you've predicted a draw when it gets to 90 mins and the full points if it's still a draw after extra time. Half the points will be awarded for correctly predicting the winner of the match if it goes to penalties.
Each of the legs will be treated as a separate match, but another point will be awarded for getting the team who goes through after the 2 legs correct.
This will take in stuff like the EFL Play Offs, FA Cup Final, final day of Prima Donna League, European Finals etc. It will be one matchday for the semis and one for the Final. It will be the individual scores for each matchday against the allotted opponent, with some kind of tie breaker for a drawn match. In the event of not even the tie breaker being decisive, the player who finished higher in the league will win.
The Final will be:- theo_luddite v jjamez

New Crewe Alexandra boss Alex Morris has made his first signing by bringing in midfielder Conor Thomas from League One side Cheltenham Town.
The 28-year-old ex-Coventry City player has signed a two-year deal at Mornflake Stadium.
Thomas, capped by England at under-17 and under-18 level, looked destined for the top when Liverpool signed him on loan in 2011.
But injury halted a proposed switch to Anfield on a more permanent basis.
After more than 100 appearances for Coventry, he left for Swindon Town in 2016 before moving on again to Indian Super League club ATK a year later.
He returned to English football in 2018 to sign for Cheltenham, where he has scored 20 goals in 146 appearances and was part of their League Two play-off side in 2019-20 and their promotion-winning team in 2020-21.
Crewe start next season back in League Two following relegation after four years in League One under David Artell, who was sacked in April and replaced by Morris.

Glenn Whelan, Brett Pitman and Leon Clarke are among 13 players released by promoted Bristol Rovers.
Rovers secured a return to League One with a dramatic dramatic 7-0 victory over Scunthorpe United on the final day of the season.
Irish international Whelan, 38, made 33 appearances since joining last summer, including the victory against the Iron.
Pitman, 34, scored four goals but spent the second half of the season on loan at National League side Eastleigh.
Veteran striker Clarke, 37, scored on his Bristol Rovers debut after signing on transfer deadline day last August from Shrewsbury Town. He endured a long period on the sidelines, however, after suffering a hamstring injury in his second match and was limited to only 11 appearances for the club.
Junior Brown, Cameron Hargreaves, Cian Harries, Ollie Hulbert, Ben Liddle, Pablo Martinez, Tom Mehew, Jon Nolan, Kieran Phillips and Lucas Tomlinson are also all released from Joey Barton's side following the end of the 2021-22 season.
Left-back Sam Heal, 19, who has been part of the Rovers academy, has been offered a six-month contract with the club, while academy graduates Jamie Egan and Harvey Greenslade have signed professional contracts.

Carlisle United have signed midfielder Owen Moxon on a two-year-deal.
The 24-year-old has spent the past five seasons with Annan Athletic, scoring 15 goals in 148 appearances for the Galabankies.
Boss Paul Simpson told the club website: "It's one we've been working on in the background probably, if I'm going to be honest with you, since the day I decided I was staying.
"I'm really pleased that I've got it all agreed."

Stockport County have released captain Liam Hogan after sealing their return to the English Football League.
The 33-year-old defender made 36 appearances this season as the Hatters won the National League title.
Defenders Lois Maynard, 33, and Jamie Stott, 24, and midfielder Tom Walker, 26, have also been released.
Goalkeeper Ben Hinchcliffe, 33, defender Ash Palmer, 29 and forward Myles Hippolyte, 27, have all been offered new deals.
"I was brought into the club with the objective of getting back into the Football League - from that point of view it's mission accomplished and I can honestly say that I'm leaving with a smile on my face," Hogan told the club website.
"Being captain of this great club is something I won't ever forget."

So Lee Johnson is proclaimed as the best candidate to succeed as the new Hibs manager? His CV initially looks reasonable, but in recent times he has "withered at the vine" and just doesn't impress at all. I'm totally underwhelmed by this appointment and it looks like I'm not alone after glancing through a few Hibs SM sites - NO WOW FACTOR, NO IMAGINATION RE THIS LATEST APPOINTMENT!!! The guy is already condemned to fail even before he has started!! He has a lot to prove most Hibs critics wrong on that score. This is clearly another decision with Hibs CEO, Ben Kensell, at the forefront of this move and IMO Kensell should already be "oot the door" after last season's gaffes. I reckon there will be a fans' "riot" next season if they carry on from where they left off this season - "heads will roll"!!

Former Scotland international Colin Calderwood is set to join Russell Martin's Swansea City coaching staff.
Ex-Nottingham Forest manager Calderwood, 57, is currently assistant boss at Northampton Town.
But Calderwood is expected to leave the League Two side to link up with Martin having previously worked with him at Norwich City.
Swansea have had a vacancy in their coaching set-up since assistant head coach Luke Williams' exit in February.
Matt Gill stepped up from his role as technical development coach to serve as Martin's number two until the end of the season and he will now fill that position on a permanent basis, with Calderwood arriving as a coach.
Centre-back Calderwood played for Mansfield, Swindon, Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest and Notts County and was capped 36 times by Scotland.
He began his managerial career at Northampton and has also managed Hibernian and Cambridge United as well as Forest.
Calderwood spent a number of years as assistant boss to Chris Hughton, and got to know Martin during Hughton's spell as Norwich manager.
Northampton were beaten in the League Two play-off semi-finals by Mansfield, whose 1-0 second-leg victory on Wednesday night saw them progress 3-1 on aggregate.
Calderwood rejoined the Cobblers in 2021 having been assistant head coach at Blackpool.

Rochdale have signed goalkeeper Richard O'Donnell on a two-year deal.
The 33-year-old was released by fellow League Two side Bradford last week after four seasons with the Bantams.
"I had a good chat with Robbie (Stockdale) last week, and his plans for the club and the way he wants to play are exciting, so as as soon as I spoke to him we got things done pretty quickly" he told the club website.
"I'm delighted to be here and looking forward to getting started in July."

Chris Hargreaves as Bristol Rovers academy coach
Chris Hargreaves performed a variety of coaching roles at Bristol Rovers from 2016 to February this year
National League side Yeovil Town have appointed former Bristol Rovers academy manager Chris Hargreaves as their new boss on a two-year deal.
Hargreaves left Rovers in February having fulfilled a number of coaching roles at the club since 2016.
The 50-year-old previously managed Torquay during the 2014-15 season.
During his playing career Hargreaves made over 650 appearances for a variety of clubs including Grimsby Town, Oxford United, Torquay and Northampton Town.
Former manager Darren Sarll left the Glovers in March to take up a job with National League rivals Woking. Interim manager Charlie Lee took the helm until the penultimate match of the season, before also leaving last week.
Yeovil finished the season in 12th place in the table.
"It feels fantastic to be here. I'm delighted to be at such a brilliant football club," Hargreaves said.
"Yeovil Town has an immense fan base and a great history, I'm really looking forward to the challenge."
