  Rugby World Cup 2015
Posted by: Stairs - 04-09-2014, 08:41 - Forum: Rugby Union - Replies (3)

Fantastic tournament coming to these shores next season. There is nothing like an international rugby game to get your passions raised (Except an Albion v Wolves battle).

There is a ballot open now to try for tickets in advance on the official RWC 2015 Site http://www.rugbyworldcup.com/ticketing/

I'm in!!!!

  SWO prediction league
Posted by: St Charles Owl - 04-09-2014, 02:20 - Forum: Sheffield Wednesday - Replies (1)

I have been in touch with South Wales and he will be bringing the prediction league over here in time for the Week 8 predictions. For weeks 6 and 7 please make sure your predictions are posted on the old site and once we have them all we can transfer to here if need be.

I assume the Baggies one will also move over for those taking part in that. Marco's Bingoal game should also be moved to here.

I will keep everyone up to date when these move.

Argentina 2-0 up at half time...some revenge for the world cup defeat, it that it shows they can do it....I wonder if we'll see Germany coming out all guns blazing second half.

Yorkshire closing in on the title
Posted by: Lord Snooty - 03-09-2014, 20:26 - Forum: Cricket - Replies (70)

With only two games to go now, a magnificent win at Old Trafford in the Roses Match has put Yorkshire within touching distance of the title. One of those matches though, the next one, is a tricky trip to Trent Bridge to take on 2nd placed Notts.
And we will have to go there without skipper Andrew Gale, who has been given a 2 match ban following an altercation at the end of play yesterday with Ashwell Prince.  Sad
