Sadly its not a case of when but its a case of how much? Too many EPL vultures for to be disasuaded

Hope Celtic can laud a good profit on him and invest it well

I have been trying to draw formula one fans to the board via twitter. Would be nice to gave some banter on here about the sport, the driver and team rivalry.

Leeds United owner Massimo Cellino has indicated Neil Redfearn is a genuine contender for the head coach's role at Elland Road.

Academy boss Redfearn has been given the caretaker reins at Leeds for a third time after Dave Hockaday's exit.

Chris Hughton would be good for steadying the ship but who really would want a job with this chairman?

Awful ginga with horse teeth

I`ll probably watch it for Sheridan Smith

  England v India - The t20I Match

England v India
The t20I Match
Sunday 7th September
at Edgbaston
starting at 15:00

[Image: 2DA46826-A5F5-B1C9-8C9A0F0A834E6626.jpg]

Tim Bresnan was in the squad for this one, the first squad he's made on this Indian tour, but unfortunately for him and indeed for County Champions elect Yorkshire, he's out with a shoulder injury.
There is one new name for us all to get used to. It's Jason Roy of Surrey. He was the leading run scorer in the t20 Blast this season. He will open the batting with Alex Hales, who was rather disappointing in his first stint in international 50 over cricket.
The finisher, Ravi Bopara, is back after being strangely left out of the ODI series and Eoin Morgan once again has the chance to put his name forward as a regular one day skipper, as Stuart Broad is still resting up after surgery, which will keep him out of the tour of Sri Lanka in November.
Ben Stokes, who scored 164 in the Royal London One Day Cup semi final for Durham Jets against Nottinghamshire Outlaws today is not in the squad, but James Taylor, who made 114 in the losing Notts reply, is in.

India have kept the same players, rather than fly some more out just for this one off match

England squad: Eoin Morgan ©, Moeen Ali, Ravi Bopara, Jos Buttler (w), Steven Finn, Harry Gurney, Alex Hales, Chris Jordan, Joe Root, Jason Roy, James Taylor, James Tredwell, Chris Woakes.

India squad: MS Dhoni (c & w), Virat Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan, Murali Vijay, Ajinkya Rahane, Suresh Raina, Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, Stuart Binny, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohammed Shami, Mohit Sharma, Ambati Rayudu, Umesh Yadav, Dhawal Kulkarni, Sanju Samson, Karn Sharma.

A couple of bits of news about our youth squad:

Philip Billing has made his U19 debut for Denmark

U21s lose 3-2 to Crystal Palace today - which lends the question - have they been missing Mark Lillis?

Terriers v Boro
Saturday 13th September
Kick off 3pm

Welcome to our first match thread on SportsBabble. And it'll also be a big West Yorkshire welcome to Chris Powell who takes charge for the first time as new manager. Chris Powell's no stranger to us of course, being Charlton's manager when we played them no fewer than 9 times.

So Chris Powell's barmy army will host Middlesbrough on the league's return following the international break. Since we joined the Championship in 2012, we have lost to them away (a miserable wet evening in November), won at home, and both our meetings last season were draws.

Boro are not faring much better than us, both in the bottom half. They're 16th on 6 pts and we're 21st on 4. Unfortunately our goal difference is a little more shameful.
First 5 results:
Town: CryUndecidedBig GrinCryCry
Boro: CryCryBig GrinCryBig Grin

We will also be welcoming back Adam Clayton for the first time since his beard deserted us.

But in return for Clayton's beard, we got Jacob Butterfield's as part of the deal.

Will this be the match where we can decide if we got the best part of the deal?

Who's better? Clayton or Butterfield? Only one way to find out ...

A deal's a deal: SC holders can take a friend for £10.

Thanks to Mark Lillis for acting as caretaker and getting us our first points of the season. As the hero who came in to save us again, I think he should be our lucky mascot. Here's an inspirational pic to bring us luck again.
