Academy and Development Squad Thread 2014/15

A couple of bits of news about our youth squad:

Philip Billing has made his U19 debut for Denmark

U21s lose 3-2 to Crystal Palace today - which lends the question - have they been missing Mark Lillis?

I don't think Lillis deals with the U21s, he does the academy, doesn't he? But I seem to remember Wakey telling me that the U18s got thrashed not so long ago* so I'd say they are definitely missing him.

* Oh, yes, 5-0 at home to Charlton: http://www.htafc.com/news/article/academ...92806.aspx

Think we'll blame Powell for that one then. Wink

I know Harry's quite precocious but he's very young for a coaching career, isn't he? Whistle

Little video update at what's been happening at Development and U18 level of late.

First up Town 0-5 Charlton at U18 level

This was followed up by the U18s winning 1-3 at Colchester Utd

And finally for now, the Development team losing at home 2-3 to Crystal Palace

The development squad lost 3-1 to Crewe today. As dreadful as that is, the news is that Gerrard and Paterson played for 60 mins.

U21s beat Ipswich 4-1 this aft, coming back from a goal down. Town goals from Billing, Crookes and Paterson (2)

Methinks a Paterson first team place can't be far off.

U18s beat Cardiff 4-1 on Saturday. Highlights are on Youtube somewhere... sorry to be vague, hopefully Wakey or someone can link (although Wakey's somewhat busy today.)

Good to see Pat-a-cake back in the goals. Put him straight in on Saturday.
