You never know, but Scanz wasn't on loan at Me-waw which might make a difference.
The club said first-team coach Paul Williams will take over as manager until the end of the season. Depends somewhat on who comes in for next season I suppose.

Dunno who would want a job where your hands are always tied behind your back with barbed wire whilst blindfolded but then again there is always someone willing to do it.
As for us needing a new player in each position jimbo id disagree we just need a few better players in. I would say goalkeeper may be needed, centre back, left back and a versatile striker. The ethos is to be aggressive whilst still giving young players a chance, we have some good players coming through. That plus a good preseason and anything can happen, there is always a dark horse who does better than predicted and having seen us under dw this year, once he has really shaped the squad and added to it, i see nothing to suggest that we couldn't be that horse there is no reason why we cant be a Bournemouth or Leicester ect. Our future is bright regardless of how this season ends.

I could think of 20 million or so reasons why we won't do a Bournemouth or a Leicester, all in £££££'s, but I still prefer trying to do what we are doing now to what we were doing before.

Yes theo money is important but there are a lot of players in the Bournemouth team and the Leicester side that were relatively cheap, wilson (remember him?) Cost 3mil which dont get me wrong it is a lot of money especially for us but again it isnt a great deal of money for someone with his ability and attributes. As for Leicester, vardy was about 2mil i think, mahrez was about 1.5, morgan, drinkwater ect was also cheap. Its only recent that they started spending vast amounts. They both have built a squad.
As for us, the main point I'm saying is that there is a lot of talent out there that is cheap especially abroad. We have built a rather young core of players like lolley, bunn, billing ect and this summer is to me about adding real quality to the ranks to go around them and people say it costs a lot of wonga to do so, there is (to me anyway) enough evidence to show that it is possible to get that quality on the cheap, you have to look where others wont (german div 2/lower, austria, swiss ect) and just to boot we have a manager who has a lot more knowledge of some of those leagues and that to me is a huge bonus.
No pressure ... but there is quite high expectations from me in our transfer dealings this summer.

We shall see, I expect Lynch to replace Cranie, Husband to replace Davidson. VLP will come into the team and so will Paterson

JJ, I think we need more than you think. We have a core of Lynch, Whitehead, Paterson and Wells.
We then have a good backup/rotation players ala Smith, Billing, Lolley and Bunn etc, who are likely to push on further next season, but are they consistently good enough to push us up the league? You then have the likes of Matmour, Davidson, Miller, Holmes etc, who are don't think are up to it.
We do need better players, but in every position I don't think is an overestimation.
Paterson is a must buy this summer though!

That is where the real money was spent and both thumbed their noses at the joke that is FFP in that regard. That is where we won't spend the money. Its got sod all to do with transfer fees.
