Not sure the accusation about the ref & lino being swayed by a big screen video replay holds up, but for me a big question mark definitely hangs over the involvement of the fourth official in the decision. This comes right on the back of McClean having been booked in our last match after the ref initially waved play on and neither assistant flagged.
You might argue that both decisions were ultimately correct. Fair enough. But why were the shite decisions against us, such as those in the Leicester and Everton games, not overturned in the same way? What role are the fourth officials playing in these circumstances? Has the Premier League issued guidelines on when they can involve themselves in the decision-making process, and are these guidelines being followed by every fourth official in every match?
Some serious transparency needed on this, because it feels (not for the first time) like we're getting the rough end of it off the men in black almost constantly these days.

Quote from clip klop "this point felt like three" not to us Jurgen, not to us, but sure feels better when the manager of one of the FA's elite club members feels fluking a draw at home against little ole Albion feels like a win, and also one in the pipe for all the pundits that predicted the pool winning to nil today. Keep the faith .... we are staying up and laughing at the seals ........ six points haha

If the professional footballers who represent The Albion don’t see it this way on
Monday morning then we really are in trouble. Sorry meanbren, but I think thats rubbish.
We didn't throw away 2points, we gained one - away, against a very good team, and if you cant see that I suggest Specsavers

I would echo the view one or two others that Klopp's post match comments are very disappointing and something I had not expected from him. Like many Baggies fans, I would like to see us play a different, more expansive game but I also recognise that this is not how Tony Pulis sets out his team and that for the Albion to get a point at Anfield was a pretty decent result. It's interesting that the "bigger" teams see Albion and others in the same way that the Premier League see us, namely to fulfil fixtures and not to disrupt the accepted order. So, when go to Anfield, when we scrap a win against Arsenal then it's somehow unacceptable. Know your place West Brom!

Have to agree with Drewks here. As much as it's gutting to have conceded so late on, that point today is still far from useless. Villa would do anything for a point at the minute, whilst we've picked up points during a period most weren't expecting we'd collect any at all.
The most worrying performances we've seen of late have been from the officials, not the players but sadly that's nothing new to us.

interesting watching MOD tonight
A lot was made of Gardner's challenge by the Scousers,
Great tackle and clearly took the ball,
Yet Skirtle's two footed lunge at Rondon was missed by the erm officials,(and scousers alike)
Yet another case of them and us, I hope when we play Bournemouth the officials may see us as a bigger team and get some breaks,
What with what happened against Leicester and Everton lets hope we see some proof of things "evening" themselves out

MOTD2 actually did ask...... "Why didn`t the linesman flag for the offside"? The ref changed his mind for him as he was obviously in a better position to "See" the offence than the man who`s job it is to run the line. Also questioned the length of time it took to award Pool the get out of jail card. As for the last equaliser..... Just rank bad luck. DD

It seems that when you are a media favourite, have home advantage, a squad that cost ten times the opposition and a high profile manager, teams like West Brom should not be allowed to come along and spoil their parties.
The consolation is, Klopp will be spitting feathers at dropping two points and being seen doing cartwheels of relief in front of what must surely have been an unimpressed Kop after scraping a draw after 95 minutes.

The 4th official should stick to his job of hiding his head in the sand for 90 minutes then hold up that naff board at the end to indicate how many minutes he's adding on for Albion's opponents to get a goal.

I respect your opinions but I stand by what I wrote.
A point from a drawn game is useless. Rondon's pathetic
shot should at least have tested their keeper and their
shot for the draw should have been snuffed at source
not allowed to deflect into our goal. We would then have
a meaningful result i.e. A Win! and 3 points. Liverpool
are not a "great" team and they were beatable.
