I don't beleeeeeeve it!

The fewer clues I give, the quicker you get um!

1) I was borne in Stockton on Tees

2) I also played for Cardiff City and Kettering Town

3) My Baggies debut was against Luton Town

It is, I suspect, John Talbut, who arrived in 1966 for £30k and whose only other English club was Burnley.

Correct Ska'd Thumb up but, do you remember where he went when he left us?

I was at the Albion when we thrashed Burnley 8-1 in 1967.  Thumb up

I remember those heady days in the 60's (Or were they?)

I remember us getting thrashed by Chelsea 7-1 just after I became a supporter and wondering 'what have I done'?

Predictable we weren't.

Clue: his first name is "Derek", and his second name's "Hogg" (though he was actually born in Norton-on-Tees rather than Stockton itself!)

This man is amazing just like his 'Brummie Road' book.

A slight change of tack.
Bearing in mind that TP seems to prefer players over 6' tall, today's question concerns the smallest forward line ever fielded by the Baggies.

In an away game in the 60's Albion put out a team with five forwards (yes I said 5 forwards - TP please note) who were all under 5' 9" in height.

Anyone care to guess who the five players were?

I do know the answer to this one too, but I'll keep quiet this time and let others have a go. I'll just say that the match was played in 1963, and offer a clue for each of the five players:

1. Is an Albion legend
2. Later left us for Norwich where he became a cult hero
3. Is often considered one of Albion's greatest wingers
4. Is a local boy
5. Is probably the most obscure of the bunch, but shares his surname with a 1990s Albion midfielder from the same part of the world
