No it isn't THAT DICKHEAD! I really did have a couple of trials back then - didn't make it of course. Bryan Robson was watching the game which was triallists v third team. I was in goal for the triallists and Peter was in goal for the third team.
Apologies accepted in advance! Smile

It's OK Florida I didn't really think that you were the 'Moouse' in disguise otherwise you would have been bragging about your meetings with JP and how much you manage to influence his decisions.

Time to start again and making it not so easy this time. Wink

1) I was born in Oxford in 1940

2) I only played for one other English League Club.

3) I cost the Albion £30,000 when I was signed in the 60's.

Bomber was born in Oldham and came through the youth system.

It is, I suspect, John Talbut, who arrived in 1966 for £30k and whose only other English club was Burnley.

Became a player-manager in Holland, didn't he? Couldn't name the club without looking it up I'm afraid.

On the ball again well almost, he became Player-Manager of Belgian Club Mechelen.

O.K. One more:-

1) I was borne in Washington. Whistle

2) I scored twice on my debut for the Baggies.

3) I became Albion's first six figure signing.
