Thank you, was Wereham. You have insight into what I'm trying to say and unlike some others, you've refrained from labeling me in a derogatory way. Thumb up Thumb up Thumb up

Personally I wud get rid of Nuhiu, give May another season and wait and see if Bus is any good, and look 4 another striker as well.

Yes. If someone hasn't been given a chance and the other has, I'd root for the one who hasn't. Couldn't care less what his name may be. But, it's so easy for you lot to ignore what I'm saying and label me a cranky old man, an anti Nuhiu campaigner, than to focus on what I'm trying to say. Totally fed up with the shit I get on here for calling the shots as I see them. Angry Angry Angry

Then tell us what you are trying to say thats different to us???  Both are not good enough, both don't score enough, what would you have done assuming Keane was the No1 choice up front??  Now we have some financial backing, we don't need to "settle" for players like Nuhiu, we can now do better but that is for next season, who would you have played tonight??

Nice change of topic. Issue wasn't who would I have played tonight. Issue was why was everyone including BL and everyone on here so down on May but Nuhiu got away scot free? Same thing last Sat. May had only just come on. He missed a sitter. Everyone on his back. Then he scored, as if to say up yours. Who would I have played? May & Lavery. Nuhiu  wouldn't even be on my bench.

We're gonna lose the Rotherham game too, we are xxxx useless, a few wins have kept SG his job, our new owners need to get a new guy in NOW, get this clueless clown his P45 and build ready for next season, as a Wednesday fan this just isn't acceptable, I would prefer may over nuihu, but for this club ,neither are good enough tbh, and bringing Lavery back and promising him game time smacks of desperation to me
Players to keep - Loovens, Lees, Westwood, Palmer Deliena,Vermijil, sign McGugan and Keane if possible
SG and the driftwood can feck off

I'm just sick of you making out that Stevie May hasn't been given a chance this season and forever labouring the point. He played the majority of the first half of the season with no end product and yes, most of us have noticed that Nuhiu is also shit.

But thats my point though in all this, someone has to play up front, Keane appears to be the best option we have had since he arrived.  Prior to that it was May and Nuhiu who got nearly all the game time.  Once Kean arrived SG made a decision which of the other two to play and in my opinion he was right to go with Nuhiu!!  Lets agree that both of them do not score anywhere near enough goals and both have missed their fair share of chances, the choice between them therefore becomes contribution to the team and I think Nuhiu is better in that department.  And before anyone says it, yes I know that not what they are primarily there for, but once both have shown an inability to score the choice comes down to other things doesn't it??

BL was far more scathing of Nuhiu tonight as well, he is the one that missed the two good chances and he said so!!

At the end of the day like Owlkev said, Nuhiu is not good enough and now we have money should be replaced, but May should be kept and developed as he does have age on his side.  The real problem though is SG, he is the one who sticks with 442, plays non-wingers out wide so the service to whoever is playing is not good enough and leave the two CMs exposed so they are unable to make runs to support the front 2.  Our problems stem from players not being good enough, mainly because we bought them out of desperation or on the cheap, and SG being inept tactically!!!!  Now we have money we can sort the first one, but SG has to go as well to complete the transformation!!

And thats the main point that has been made by nearly everyone - neither are currently good enough if we want to progress as DC has said!!!  Our opinions may be slightly different as regards which one plays, but going forward its likely that neither will once we can get better players in.

Possession - Wolves 44%, Owls 56%
Shots - Wolves 12, Owls 20
On target - Wolves 7, Owls 3
Corners - Wolves 3, Owls 4

The stats do not show a 3-0 defeat, but that has been the story of our season!!!  20 attempts and only 3 on target, that is pathetic even by our standards!!!! Angry  And if I remember rightly Nuhiu, Maghoma (?) and Lavery (?) were the ones who had the attempts on target, its just not good enough and for me it all goes back to the formation and the tactics!!  As Stateside said, once we went 1-0 down, there was no change in anything from SG because there is no plan B!!!!

Well said Chaz Thumb up you've put into words what we all know apart from SG Thumb up and PEI Whistle

Maybe Nuhiu and May would have been prolific within a proper set up with wingers and midfielders providing a service but we'll never know until SG goes. Every one talks about May having his confidence shot to shit by SG but has the same thing happened to Nuhiu ?

and they are about the same age aren't they ? Whistle
