He was.
Hutch didn't do anything of note, Semedo is much better in that position. He shouldn't have started at RM as Lee did nothing wrong last week and he definitely wouldn't get in at CM over Semedo or Barry. Last season you noticed what he brought to the team, I'm yet to see it this season.
Doesn't matter anyway, Semedo apparently has a broken foot so he'll play (unless Melo gets a chance)
and Zayatte felt his hamstring
Dielna at CB forever. yippeeeeeeeeee

Hutch put in a number of good tackles, chased down the opposition allowing Barry a bit of freedom and looked for a pass instead of hoofing the f ucker into no mans land ie he was actually thinking about what he was doing
It's funny that because I'm not bothered about the fancy flicks only getting the ball in the net.
Semedo bosses midfield most weeks, I just don't see Hutch replicating that when he plays.

I thought we played better when Semedo got injured leaving Barry and Hutch as the central pair
and complicated

semedo has not been right since his toe infection, rushed back maybe
we played better because Maguire came on and put some urgency into us, not because hutch went cdm
was a strange formation tonight. Really disjointed in midfield and then Dielna

OK Let's disagree on Hutch but what about my other observations don't just latch onto one
and I did hint at Maguire but I thought we weren't allowed to say he played well on here

Personally I don't see Semedo and Hutch playing in the same midfield. I think McGugan has made a great difference to our attacking options and I think its no coincidence that we have scored more since he came into the team, so for me while ever Mr 442 is in charge there is only room for one of them as Barry has to play!!
Just to go back to Wereham's comment about choking, do either of you think the players choked tonight or was it tactics etc that caused us to be crap in the first half??
Stevie May is slowly but surely beginning to lose the faith of the fans from what I can see. Seen a few comments that people don't think he is up to it, would he be able to turn this around with a new manager or with a couple of decent wingers to feed off??

the south stand lino gave corners when the ball didn't go, throws when it didn't go and no throws when it did.
Blackburn should have had a pen at 2-0 (only decision against them)
the ref gave a GK for them when it took the BIGGEST deflection I have ever seen at a football game.
Pretty sure the officials were either paid off, had their eyes painted on or were at a different game to me.
Don't believe conspiracy theories surrounding refs!! Up in Scotland every fan has a list of refs that are blatently biased against their team, yet you will see the same names on each clubs fans lists!!! I firmly believe refs sometimes have shit games or are simply not up to the standard of play in the Championship or whatever level they operate at!! At the end of the day they are no different from players or managers in terms of making mistakes or finding themselves out of their depth!!
It doesn't come across well on the radio though.
I've listened to games where commentators will say "that looked out" and play it down because they're not in the best position and it's not given so they must be wrong or they will totally ignore it.
The south stand linesman today missed offsides for both their goals, gave throws when it didn't go, corners when it didn't go, GK's when it took a HUGE deflection and FK's for naff all when Nuhiu was having his shirt ripped from his back.
The ref was slow, blew for every tiny thing, was inconsistent with fouls in aerial challenges, missed an obvious pen for B'burn, gave a corner when Westwood picked the ball up on the line and was just generally in the way.
The worrying thing is that he's not the worst ref we've had over the last 3 seasons either

Bit of both

Needs the service, as I mentioned a few posts above. He came on and made runs but the rest either played the wrong balls or over hit everything

It was the ref and the lino they scored the first time they came into our half on 16 minutes a foul should have been given our way, Rhodes was then offside, then he hand balled it and we were losing 1-0 As Thurny said, we started brightly but that knocked the stuffing out of us for 20 minutes the 2nd goal was equally bad. Our free kick, not a Blackburn throw
And yeah, that was a great tackle on Barry by the ref Rhodes should have been more alert for the pass

1 - The South Stand Lino, as Thurny said, was f ucking appalling, closely followed by the ref. Rhodes also looked offside in the build up to his goal.
2 - The 2nd one should have been our free kick instead of a Blackburn throw
3 - Blackburn are very "professional" (or f ucking cheats if you like) in the way they conduct themselves on the pitch
4 - Maguire did well when he came on and seemed to add a little spark played mainly on the left 2nd half.
5 - Hutchinson was our best player on the night and managed not to get booked.
6 - Palmer was abysmal going forward and not much better in defence
7 - Nuhiu played well and won a lot of ball for us when he wasn't being molested by the Rovers players
8 - We backed off the opposition too much and let them get the 2nd ball most of the time
9 - No one seemed prepared to shoot and we overplayed too many situations and ended up getting blocked out or going down blind alleys
10 - Stevie May is not up to it
11 - Keane should have taken the early chance, and looks like an excellent prospect, but I don't think it would have made a difference. The officials were appalling in their leaning towards Blackburn
12 - Overall, I quite enjoyed the game and can see a few plus points with a different set of officials we could easily have won this one
numbered to make it easier to respond this will be very detailed
1 - agree
2 - agree
3 - agree, rhodes especially
4 - agree
5 - already talked about this
6 - Thought he was OK but we're comparing him to the other full backs (Dielna and Helan )
7 - agree but dropped a bit too deep, same with Keane
8 - and who was the best player who's job it was to press in CM
9 - agree and have been saying this for months
10 - jury's out
11 - agree
12 - disagree, would have been a draw <<<<this is still too content and not bored enough for my liking
happy now maddix?
think the ref is the only thing we 100% agree on maddix

yep, all across the divisions as well. It's about time they were all employed full time by the FA and trained by the best ex-refs and were held accountable for their actions rather than this current situation where the referee is right and that's that. dont like it? don't play
