We need to get a few more players in quickly.
Plus I guess the players need to get used to the style of play Mason is pushing on them as clearly they are a work in progress and it looks bad right now.

August is when things happen for us in the transfer windows. Probably the last 2 weeks of it in fact.
I few links with a striker (Ramos) and defenders (Bambino and Tasker) but how real are they and what other irons are in the fire. Sad for me is that we will have played 4-6 games by the end of September and unless we look good in them it is not attractive to a player if he has other options.

It’s looking like we’ll be losing Heggem to Bologna, albeit for a healthy profit. Disappointing if that’s the case as I believe him to be our best defender. The seemingly continual need to sell just illustrates the financial situation our previous owner created

The impact on West Brom of that previous ownership has been huge.

Now official a £10 million bid for Heggs was received by the club on Friday evening, have to assume we have seen the last of him in the stripes

With what we paid for him, this is close to straight profit. I know the poor financial situation we’re in but I would hope some this fee would be reinvested in a player/players. As I think Slick mentioned, investment in an attacking midfielder is, I feel, a priority. Losing Heggem would be a blow but we seem to be decently served with Phillips, Campbell and Taylor. I’d be more concerned at losing Isaac Price.
