Looks like we're waiting for SB to accept.
An 18 month contract on offer.
A large Brucey Bonus if he gets us promoted, although SB has got a few quid. He ain't coming for the money.

This club hasn't got a clue what it wants anymore. A 4 year contract was given to Ismael with a long-term project clearly in mind. He failed to deliver so now the solution is a short-term one with Steve Bruce.

The club has clearly not learnt from the previous 2 seasons.

Well my thinking they might get the coach to change his style of play and save the club 3 years+ in wages didn't work, so now they need to get this right in getting in a new one that has adaptable thinking and will lead us on to better football - Huh

On the hopes of thousands of us lies one man. So lets hope the new group of management  will do that, and not go for a washed up useless interim coach. Rolleyes Bruce included. Doh

Hi Drewks. I've been very busy with work over the past 6 months so haven't had time to post on here.

A positive that I can see with Bruce is we should revert to a back 4 and go back to basics defensively. Going forward is where I have question marks about him. I think it'll be similar to Allardyce's style where we'll try to play but also have the option of the long ball.

Button
Furlong - Bartley - Clarke - Townsend
Phillips - Livermore - Mowatt - Diangana
Carroll - Grant

I don't think Maresca is the right man. He was at Parma for 6 months this season, and with the strongest squad in Serie B, departed with them in 14th place.
