The ever increasing problem is that it is becoming more and more a fact that no-one is allowed to express an opinion anymore unless you are on the side of the woke lefties.

I am totally sickened by the way this Country is developing and has developed over the last few years. It won't be long before the thought police are amongst us. Unless you are left wing, black and gay you are deemed to be a 'wrong thinker' and therefore of little importance and to be shouted down at every opportunity..
I have no problem with people whose sexuality or colour is different to mine, I just don't want it thrust down my throat at every opportunity.

I see that students at an Oxford College have now decided that they will no longer allow a portrait of the Queen to remain in their common room as they  believe that she was instrumental in causing problems in our former Colonies.
For God's sake (sorry BV), the straight white male has every right to live unfettered in this Country. After all, he is probably making the largest contribution to the Country's taxes.

The TV companies are amongst the worst peddlers of "equality" and "inclusion".... if you're gay it seems like the BBC will fall over backwards to employ you, and the other station's commercial ads will NOT show one ad where there isn't at least one person of colour - however, they WILL show ads where there is no white person.

I too am heartily sick of this non stop bombardment of PC messaging at every turn. I would never abuse ANYONE, and I really believe that the vast majority of people in this country are the same.

Silver and Drewks, I agree with you both as well, that everyone should be able to live with the freedom to express their opinion, but people also have the right to live without fear and intimidation, but there is no reason the two rights cannot sit in harmony. I fear your anger and arguments are aimed at the wrong people, if no one was making these racist and sexist comments there would be nothing for people to complain about, so unless you are both saying people should be free to express racist views if they wish, then the logical argument, if you are fed up with peoples rights being rammed down your throats, is to be angry with the people making the racist comments, not the people who challenge them rather than just let it go. Silver I think we are around the same age bracket, so you like myself will remember the days when bananas and worse were being thrown on the pitch at our black players in the 70's/80's. If we had just let that go back then where would we be now?

I've just read that 18% of the UK are >65 (1 in 5.5), but not one appears in the England Football or Cricket teams. It shouldn't be about ability - it s/b about 'inclusion'.

I agree totally that racist remarks are completely out of order and I'm proud to have supported a team which included the 'three degrees' and remember well the abuse they suffered when playing for us. The point I am trying to make is that there are factions within our society (including newspapers) which immediately take affront if a gay or black person is in anyway harmed even if they are violently resisting arrest.

The current sentiment/movement within our country is extremely worrying, I don't care what ethnicity you are, colour is the wrong word as I am white and go red when watching the Albion or get sunburnt, I go green after a night on the pop and brown after a good holiday! We are all a colour and whichever colour you are is ultimately immaterial! I dont care what your persuasion is! That said, I am a white, british, hetrosexual male with no disabilities, I work, I pay taxes and am law abiding, however, I have never felt more marginalised by the direction this country is going.
We seem to be trying to appease all the people all the time, it isn't possible, you don't take the knee your racist, you eat meat your a heathen, you dont embrace somebodies sexuality, your ridiculed and not accepting. I think ultimately, live and let live and please stop forcing these views on me, I will respect them more if i'm not force fed on them all the time, rant over! Bob I am sorry but with the upmost respect, it is not the last 5/6 years, it is the last 50 or 60 years and that is not why communities separated the way they did. Yes you had the tower blocks of the 70/80's, as you mentioned, but they did not segregate area's and cause communities not to mix, if anything they had the opposite effect, they were places where people did mix and get on, because most were in a similar financial situation.

What started these areas of colour and non-integration, was that communities felt the need to protection themselves, from those out to go, 'C**n Hunting or P*ki Bashing'. When people of colour started to move to the UK, the violence and intimidation against them was considerable, so these areas started to grow purely so people felt safe, so they did not get their windows put through every night or have 'go home' messages painted on their door. That is what caused, the black areas, the Asian areas etc and as a result of that, when you have a large community of one particular race, obviously people talk and that is why you get the perceived need for 'special schools' etc. If the white community had accepted people to start with, the areas in question would have never evolved, if the communities had been allowed to natural spread out the perceived need for special schools would have never arose.

As for those politicians allowing "dances et cetera" what ever where they thinking, allowing people to dance, whatever next? (It is now and has been for many decades illegal, to hold a dance or any other event to which people are bared from attending due to the colour of their skin.)

There is absolutely no way that match should have been played yesterday,UEFA should not have asked the question it should have been Abandoned. I would not have wanted to play knowing my team mate had just been returned from a dark place, these selfish football bodies have no compassion. Anyone interested, my mate Dave in leeds has 2 tickets for a corporate box at Wembley next friday for the England v Scotland game. He paid £270 each for them but did'nt realise when he bought them that it was going to be the same day as his covid 19 postponed wedding. if you are interested he is looking for someone to take his place. It's at the Quebecs, 5 star hotel in leeds at 6pm, the brides name is Michelle she's 5ft 6in about 8 stone, very pretty, she's a fulltime accountant and really good cook.
