I was told by a BC supporter he only played 2/3 games as sub, and was in their terms bloody useless.

Jonathan Leko’s loan spell at Bristol City has officially ended.

Lee Johnson confirmed after the defeat to Aston Villa that the winger – who was an unused substitute at Villa Park – has returned to parent club West Bromwich Albion.

Leko made just five starts in his tenure at City. He featured in just 12 games in total.

Some fans also thought he was pretty good  Thumb up

Good luck to him. It leaves us short for the next couple of games - though would he have been cup-tied anyway - but ultimately he wasn't getting games and it probably suits West Brom, suits him and may ultimately suit us.
Showed in flashes he has lots of potential

I’ll fondly remember his performance away at Wolves for the 3-3. I thought we had a world-beater.
Was Awesome against Derby as well

Based on what we saw against Derby & Wolves away.

Based on what the Baggies lads from work say.

Didn't always hit it off but when he on form he is basically unstoppable

Ok, it was their matter of opinion which they inform me is usually good. Wink  So that's ly 3 against 2. Must admit I liked the look of the youngster 2 years ago.

I'd take Smalling + £10m. (Smalling was listed for £10m in the Summer). Don't think Smalling would come now, though.

Hopefully Leko has been bought back to get a run out at Exeter. Give AP a chance to see him in action.

Looking even more important now that we get a creative player as well. Announced tonight Morrison has had another set back. Just what has happened to our amazing medical team they don't seem to be able to get anyone back at the moment Morrison, Chadli, Philips, they come back for a game or two and then back out again.

With Mozza def now out for longer, Chadli v uncertain and Phillips unlikely to ever walk again it seems to me that our priority has shifted from goal scorer to probably 2 creative midfielders.
Surely the best answer to this is to look for a loan till season's end of a couple of bloody good older players  who just aren't  getting games at their present clubs?
There MUST be a few out there in this position* who would still fancy getting into their country's WC squad who would really be up for a short term challenge like that?

Simple, this recruitment lark.

*over to you Josh. Names please!

We are back in the old dark days now. We want quality players but look a bad proposition when stuck at the bottom of the table. Any player of value will consider us but will jump elsewhere if an offer comes in- we have seen it all before!

Hopefully players have escape clauses to allow them to be moved on in the summer if it goes All Pete Tong and that plus Alan Pardew's charms will be enough to get a few good players on board.

It could be worse. We could still have TP at the helm and no player with anybflair would want to come and join us!

The players we will attract at the minute are not going to be A-listers but i’d Take Lennon from Everton, Cabaye from Palace and Ings from Liverpool. Those 3 might do a job for us.
