WBA Transfer Window - Final Day
OK - Top of thread now updated with what I believe are the 'credible' links. Many things were in the TP Era and unless they get repeated I suspect will be dead as AP makes his mark on the club and squad.

Happy New Year folks and here's hoping we survive with pride and not just because others are worse

Stairs, I would be happy to survive because three teams are worse than us ....... gives us time to repair and move on.

Although I hate being another mid table also ran, that is pretty much all that 86 teams have to aim for ..... the money spent by the top six is just way beyond real clubs.

Best we can hope for is signing a dick van dyke for a small fee and then sell to Liverpool for 75 million ...... here's hoping perhaps we can sell Hegazi for 90 million.

Stairs, thanks for updating top of thread. That's a flipping long window, isn't it.... Whistle

Strong rumours that we have agreed a deal with Man U for Sam Johnstone (keeper on loan at Villa). Perhaps money is available. Did not see this as an area of major concern compared with offensive players but will be competition for Fozzy.

I was told by a BC supporter he only played 2/3 games as sub, and was in their terms bloody useless.

Jonathan Leko’s loan spell at Bristol City has officially ended.

Lee Johnson confirmed after the defeat to Aston Villa that the winger – who was an unused substitute at Villa Park – has returned to parent club West Bromwich Albion.

Leko made just five starts in his tenure at City. He featured in just 12 games in total.

Some fans also thought he was pretty good Thumb up

Good luck to him. It leaves us short for the next couple of games - though would he have been cup-tied anyway - but ultimately he wasn't getting games and it probably suits West Brom, suits him and may ultimately suit us.
Showed in flashes he has lots of potential

I’ll fondly remember his performance away at Wolves for the 3-3. I thought we had a world-beater.
Was Awesome against Derby as well

Based on what we saw against Derby & Wolves away.

Based on what the Baggies lads from work say.

Didn't always hit it off but when he on form he is basically unstoppable

OK. Hands up who's STILL going on to this page, this thread, and STILL hoping to see that some fantastic goal scoring machine has just signed.
