Well fingers crossed, lets see where we go now. A little worried that 88% of the club is now essentially owned by 3 investment companies, who's number one consideration will always to be to make a profit from those who have investments with them. For all my whinging about JP over the years, I am a little sad to see him go, because even though one may moan at a decision you always knew he would have the interests of the club first

JP has been fantastic and I have always defended the man against criticism over the years. We could easily have followed Leeds, Birmingham, Bolton, Forest, Wolves and recently (Hurrah) Villa. But JP has despite lots of flack has done the right thing for the club. Yes he has made a profit and sails off into the sunset a rich man. But he has done it without plundering the club.

I now feel, as I have all last season, that the time to place bets has come this could be the start of something big but equally could be a dangerous period in Albion history.

Tighten those seat belts and get ready for a White knuckle ride into the unknown.

We need to see what forms the part of the new consortium,
What i'm hearing is good so far.

Pity I can't get on 606(must be blocked) Rolleyes as the Wolfs are taking the pee saying we are no richer than when we had JP in charge.

However our new owner is worth £ 1.8 Billion not mega rich by football owners standards,
The Wolfs on 606 are claiming him to be broke and worth 200 Million.

Here's a low down ......................

Palm was listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2010 (ticker number 002431) and had a market capitalisation as at 4 August 2016 of RMB15.6billion (GBP1.8 billion). In the six months ended 30 June 2016, Palm had revenue of RMB1.45 billion (GBP 164 million) and recorded a profit before tax of RMB60 million (GBP7 million).

BUT AND HERE'S THE REAL BUT

It's not just him, he's the majority shareholder in Shanghai Sports Development and that's who we've sold to.
They are worth wait for it
£45 Billion Laugh

Then this ........................

And this is the really exciting bit ...........

Salop and Stairs have got it right. I can't understand any of the criticism of Jeremy's expenditure. (Some call him Tightwad and Scrooge, but he learned from the gambling of more illustrious Clubs, and always kept us in the black). We're now a recognised Prem Club (so far) thanks to him and Paul Thompson, and yet we're comparative paupers due to geographical, economic and population reasons. If he was more of a Doug Ellis he'd have named a stand after himself.
Since 2002 the Club have spent every penny that they've earned, so his critics can only have been hoping we'd have took a gamble............just like Leeds, Forest, Wolves, Owls, Derby, Chelsea (in Bates' day - he nearly sunk the Club), etc etc etc

is there any chance that Wanda are involved with sports group as I think could be wrong that they are connected to biggest club in Chinese league?

I'm still hearing evergrande are involved, makes sense as both heavily linked with Guangzhou.

An open letter here to the fans from the new owner.
He says some very good, comforting and complimentary things - let's hope he's genuine in all he says (not saying that I think he ISN'T, by the way!)

Sounds a nice sort of guy Thumb up Blush

I understand the new owners are keen on retaining TP because he favours the 'Great Wall' approach to team tactics.
