I understand why he went to a back three at half time (as awful as it was) in order to free the full backs up since we were ludicrously narrow in the first half. However, as Dawson wasn't injured, I'm struggling with the tactical mastermind thinking behind swapping one centre half for another, particularly when Dawson had only played 45 minutes Have I missed something?

It was an in game tactic to use the FAC to give some of the first team a 30 minute run out. To prepare for a league game. That's a new one on me - congratulations on GJ & DM on trying something new. The management genius is brilliant, went straight over my head tbh.
