Maybe we should copy the yanks then and have players that you can bring on just to take a kick. It seems to work for them as they are always World Champions at everything that only they play  ....... erm ...... maybe not  Cool

Wallace has taken two penalties in his career (both for Burnley) and scored them both (one against Wednesday).

Hooper scored three penalties out of three for Scunthorpe, two out of two penalties at Celtic and three out of four for Norwich so 8 out of 9 in total. Appears to have never been the main penalty taker except at Scunthorpe.

As Imre said. Derby won so that makes last nights loss all that more of a bitter pill to swallow.

I suppose we'll see how the players react won't we..

Imre, you know what they say about philosophers. "one of the main differences between science and philosophy is that science makes progress while philosophers go round in circles endlessly discussing the same questions." Whistle Whistle Whistle

Yes, you're spot on. Laugh

At the end of the day I think the top 6 will be as it is now, just the order may change slightly. The top 4 have opened up a gap over us and Derby, but we too still have a bit of a gap below us as well. Hull will be very difficult and we may well lose that one but if we look at this weeks games its hardly a crisis!! We lost away to an in form Preston team who only scored after we went down to 10 men and we drew a game where 9/10 times we would have taken all three points in a game we dominated but lacked the killer instinct up front. Forestieri is back on Friday and it was clear we badly missed him and his ability to open up a defence and we also need to get Hutchinson back asap, either in defence or midfield because he is so important for the team as a whole but particularly for Bannan and Lee.

We have 12 games left to get us into the crap shoot that the playoffs can be, and it will be our home form that gets us there. We are better than the teams below us, we have to start showing that again!!

Hull thread will be up later tonight when I get back to my hotel.
