RE: WBA 2017/18 January Transfer Window - Dingle-Dingle - 04-01-2018 West Brom want Jonny Evans, 30, to commit to a new contract but Manchester United have joined Manchester City in the race for their former defender and are prepared to make a £20m bid. (Smalling was listed for £10m in the Summer). Don't think Smalling would come now, though. RE: WBA 2017/18 January Transfer Window - tidy - 05-01-2018 Hopefully Leko has been bought back to get a run out at Exeter. Give AP a chance to see him in action. RE: WBA 2017/18 January Transfer Window - Salopbaggie - 06-01-2018 Looking even more important now that we get a creative player as well. Announced tonight Morrison has had another set back. Just what has happened to our amazing medical team they don't seem to be able to get anyone back at the moment Morrison, Chadli, Philips, they come back for a game or two and then back out again. Who are this Chadli and Phillips people keep talking about?? DD ![]() ![]() RE: WBA 2017/18 January Transfer Window - drewks - 06-01-2018 With Mozza def now out for longer, Chadli v uncertain and Phillips unlikely to ever walk again it seems to me that our priority has shifted from goal scorer to probably 2 creative midfielders. Surely the best answer to this is to look for a loan till season's end of a couple of bloody good older players who just aren't getting games at their present clubs? There MUST be a few out there in this position* who would still fancy getting into their country's WC squad who would really be up for a short term challenge like that? Simple, this recruitment lark. *over to you Josh. Names please! RE: WBA 2017/18 January Transfer Window - Stairs - 06-01-2018 We are back in the old dark days now. We want quality players but look a bad proposition when stuck at the bottom of the table. Any player of value will consider us but will jump elsewhere if an offer comes in- we have seen it all before! Hopefully players have escape clauses to allow them to be moved on in the summer if it goes All Pete Tong and that plus Alan Pardew's charms will be enough to get a few good players on board. It could be worse. We could still have TP at the helm and no player with anybflair would want to come and join us! RE: WBA 2017/18 January Transfer Window - Worldclassalbion - 06-01-2018 The players we will attract at the minute are not going to be A-listers but i’d Take Lennon from Everton, Cabaye from Palace and Ings from Liverpool. Those 3 might do a job for us.
