A breezy damp night saw a derby between the F clubs at Highbury, never seen FGR before so that's another one ticked off the list, think I have seen the all although have only seen Harrogate as a non league side so somewhere down the line will have to get that sorted lthough they are in distinct danger of getting relegated this season.
First action of the game saw the ball end up in the gardens behind the empty away end. The visiting hordes from Gloucester were in the stands, one coach load of them and to be fair to them they made a bit of noise in the first half.
The first period saw only one goal there could have been at least ten, Morton had his own competition on how he could not score, one blocked, one saved by teh finger tips of the keeper, he also hit the post. The home side had other efforts which were eithe blocked or went narrowly wide. Not that FGR idn't create, one early chance cleared from the lineas well.
FGR looked the better of teh two football wise, ex North Ender Wickham showing glimpses of skill which saw him make big money moves, sadly he's hhad some bad luck with injuries.
FGR took the lead free kick from the right headed home by Bunker(caught on camera as well)

They just about managed to survive until half time
Second period a bit more stop start as FGR became how you say in the trade street savy, wasting abit of time, the home side dominated without finding teh killer touch, Joe garner ran around fell over and argued as usual. The substitutions didn't work for FGR actually made them worse, so it was no surprise when Rooney crossed from the right and Morton eventually got his goal, back flicking the ball past the keeper. To be honest no motre than they deserved. The Cod tried to force a winner but it was FGR who nearly snatched it at the death, cross from the left sliding forward, ball wrong side of the post player sliding into net.
Fair result IMV

The Football Association of Wales (FAW) is investigating a match between Rhyl 1879 and Bangor 1876 which ended in a mass brawl.
The Saturday game in Ardal North West between two 'phoenix clubs' saw seven red cards and was won 2-1 by Bangor.
Rhyl manager Gareth Thomas, who was sent from the bench for apparent dissent, said the players' actions were unacceptable.
"The scenes that have followed at the end are not good enough," said Thomas.
"It's not what we've spent 20 months building-up this club to be and it's an absolute disgrace.
"Players can look at it, they've got to take responsibility. Not only have they let the club down, they've let hard-working volunteers down here, and that was not good enough and it's not something that will be carrying on at this club."
A spokesman for North Wales Police said: "We are aware of a video circulating on social media containing footage of a disorder incident that occurred within the playing area at the end of the football match between Rhyl 1879 and Bangor 1876 on Saturday afternoon.
"We are currently in contact with the FA of Wales as well as representatives of both clubs. Officers were in attendance at the match in order to maintain public safety, however we will now be investigating the circumstances of this incident, and will be considering any necessary measures to ensure the risk of any type of disorder is minimised at future fixtures."
It was the first-ever competitive match between two sides, who were resurrected after problems at long-standing north Wales clubs. Rhyl 1879 were formed in 2020 after the dissolution of Rhyl FC.
Bangor 1876 were formed by fans of troubled Bangor City in 2019.
Rhyl had already been reduced to 10 men before an incident in stoppage time which sparked the scenes that will be investigated.
Fan-captured footage shows punches being thrown and players and club officials involved in a minute-long melee with five further red cards also shown as the final whistle beckoned.
Report
In a statement issued on Sunday, 23 October, Rhyl said: "Our community club is deeply upset and saddened at the on-field events at the end of the game against our friends from Bangor 1876.
"We would like to thank the North Wales Police for supporting the game, both sets of supporters and especially our club volunteers who give up their valuable time to make this and every home game possible.
"We apologise to everyone who experienced the incident and this matter is being dealt with internally as a matter of urgency.
"We await the referee's report, and we will be making no further comment at this time."

First game at Deepdale
Championship strugglers Middlesbrough have appointed former Manchester United and England midfielder Michael Carrick as their head coach.
The 41-year-old had been out of the game since leaving Old Trafford after a three-game stint as temporary boss after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's dismissal.
Boro had been without a permanent manager since Chris Wilder was sacked, with Leo Percovich in interim charge.
Carrick's first game will be at Preston in the Championship on Saturday.
He had said it was not the right time for him to return to football but had a change of heart after a positive second round of talks.
It is also a return to the north-east of England for Carrick, having been born in Newcastle.
Michael Carrick
Carrick takes his first permanent head coach role with Middlesbrough, who are 21st in the Championship
"Middlesbrough was the first professional club I played for as a nine-year-old boy, so it's a very special feeling to be back here as a head coach," he said.
"Growing up in the north-east myself I'm fully aware of what football means to people. It's a real privilege for me to be in this position and to feel all the passion and enthusiasm you've got for the game and for Boro."
He will be assisted by Jonathan Woodgate. The former Boro player returns to The Riverside having been the manager from June 2019 to June 2020.
The club has also confirmed that Percovich will now take up a role as the club's head of player pathway and development.
Carrick, who also played for West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur, made 418 appearances for United over a 12-year career, winning 17 trophies at Old Trafford before retiring in 2018.
He also won 34 England caps between 2001 and 2015, and was part of the squads at both the 2006 and 2010 World Cups.
After his retirement he became part of United's coaching staff, initially under Jose Mourinho for a short period until the Portuguese was sacked and then - more prominently - under Solskjaer for the near-three years in which the Norwegian was in charge.
When Solskjaer left, Carrick led United to wins over Villarreal in the Champions League and Arsenal in the Premier League - with a draw at Chelsea sandwiched in between - before stepping down.
'Michael is perfect fit'
Carrick arrives at Middlesbrough as their sixth permanent boss since the club was relegated from the Premier League in 2017 - a number which includes Woodgate.
He is the 13th appointment of Steve Gibson's tenure as chairman, and the Boro owner is thrilled at the prospect of working with Carrick.
"We had identified a number of potentials for the vacancy who we spoke with, and were impressed by all, but Michael was the outstanding candidate," Gibson told the club's website.
"Michael has the same values as the club, and we are very much aligned in our ambitions.
"We see Michael as the perfect fit for us and he believes this is the right club at the right time."
Jonathan Woodgate
Having been player and manager at Boro, Jonathan Woodgate returns as assistant to Carrick
Boro finished seventh under Wilder last season, only missing out on a play-off spot on the final day, and expectations were of a promotion push this campaign.
That never materialised and the ex-Sheffield United boss was dismissed three weeks ago after just two wins from their first 11 games.
Percovich steadied the ship with seven points from five games but the club sit just one point and one place above the bottom three.
Now Carrick has five games before the break for the World Cup, starting at Deepdale on Saturday, to try to move Boro clear of the relegation zone.

Exeter is one of the nicest clubs around, fan owned, decent, good men at the top of the Trust and now they've gone and appointed Gary Caldwell as their new manager.
In the history of the cruddy decisions that have resulted in Chesterfield playing in the National League the appointment of Gary Caldwell must top the pile. He is Mr Clueless. This man spent two weeks training the team to play with a back three and then brought in five new players all aged 20 or under the day before the game.
He blamed the players whenever complex tactical plans didn't work and sat smug in his natty suit whenever the players, literally, from on the pitch, mid-game, were asking what they were supposed to be doing.
The problem is Caldwell has ideas and can sound convincing, but like Liz Truss, he has no notion of the consequences. Ask Partick Thistle.
Any club in the Championship or Division One in need of players should take a long look at Exeter in the transfer window. For instance, would Jevani Browne get in Huddersfield's side at the moment, would he add a touch of much needed class at Cardiff? Do I even need to ask? Surely a couple of months under Caldwell will end his attachment to Exeter?
Please Mr Caldwell don't bullshit a good club all the way back to a relegation struggle in Division Two before they ditch you?

2 points for each correct scorer
Correct joker doubles your score
Wrong joker result gives you minus 2
Correct Random Badger gives you 2 points
The random badger is used for any random prediction used once in each matchday sequence. For instance, a scorer at a particular match, the number of red cards in the matches or yellow cards or own goals or owt you want really within reason, I do need to be able to check whether it's correct or not. Please don't put stuff like....."Commentator says...."
The joker is played for one match in each sequence and if correct you get double points. So if you've predicted 1-0 and it finishes 2-0, you get 4 pts, but if you've predicted 2-0, that's 8 pts. But if you get it wrong, it's minus 2.
Jokers and badgers are optional. You don't have to play one if you don't want.
The prize for winning the league is one rep point.
Cup games: In the event of a draw, it's half the points if you've predicted a draw when it gets to 90 mins and the full points if it's still a draw after extra time. Half the points will be awarded for correctly predicting the winner of the match if it goes to penalties. Similarly with the badger, if your random prediction is affected by this, it'll be half the points.
Random score generator: I will be using the random score generator again for those who miss predicting, so we shouldn't get some people too far behind that after missing a couple of weeks they lose all interest, because I know it's not easy getting on here every week.
To be fair to everybody, this is going to be like, say if three people in one week miss their predictions, the first one in the table will be given all 0-0, the second one down the line will get 1-0 and the third will get 0-1 and so on, like if there's four missing the 4th will get 1-1, then 5th 2-1, 6th 1-2. and if there are so many missing, might as well pack in.
And if you miss two weeks on the trot, I'll stop until you come back on again. Not doing it for half a season like I did t'other year.
End of season Play Offs: The one who finishes top of the league will still be champion, but after the season finishes there will be Play Offs between the top 4, with 1st v 4th and 2nd v 3rd. This will take in stuff like the EFL Play Offs, FA Cup Final, final day of Prima Donna League, European Finals etc. It will be one matchday for the semis and one for the Final. It will be the individual scores for each matchday against the allotted opponent, with some kind of tie breaker for a drawn match.
The prize for winning will be enormous. Another rep point.
