It’s hard to believe that Blackburn would contemplate selling/loaning him to the Albion. There is nothing that I can see in it for them except to lose one of their best players to a rival. However my biggest frustration is that this “deal” is the Albion’s whole approach to transfer dealing in a microcosm. We’ve known for weeks what positions we need to fill but we are incapable of either making a decision or making a sensible offer. The result is a squad with no recognised right back, no creative central midfielder and precious little cover for the two main strikers. On a positive note, we appear to have signed a shedload of goalkeepers and a geriatric full back. That’s a relief!
Chadli was always going to go, so no shock, but a bit disappointing as he'd have been the best player in the Championship by a mile. Very decent footballer, ruined by Pulis' style.

My worry is that our squad looks absolutely thread bare. Really could do with a right back, box to box midfielder and striker coming in at the very least. We've got absolutely no cover for injury at the moment and look pretty poor even with everyone fit.
That's it then now Dm has come out with the line ..... We won't just sign anyone for the sake of it Laugh the same crap that has come out of every Albion managers mouth for the last ten years,
Although for months we have known we need a Rb and Cm,
Villa who had absolutely nothing last month are now signing Tammy Abrahams from Chelsea joining Bolasie from Everton signed last week,
I thought we may finish above the Villa this year, but unless they finish midtable I can't see that happening because unless something happens between now and 5pm we are going knowhere!! Angry
Mulumbu signed for Celtic,I'm amazed we missed out in trying to get him,
I mean Dm knows him just like Mears Whistle
Not sure which directon thus club is going.,
If nothing happbefore 5pm our spend this window has been -12 million and 700k a week in wages another 2.8 million each month,
We all new Chadli wouldn't play again,  so a replacement?  Nyom gone so we replace with a 35 year old freebie, Darren Moore is nothing but a Jenkins puppet,  he is now churning out crap like the other mangers over the last ten years.
Maddison was a player we promised Peterborough we would sign after we sold someone,-12 million pound down the line.....     Angry

Let’s face it, we now have owners who, having seen PL membership disappear in their first season, have no intention of investing in the club. Unless they can flog it to someone who’s interested, I fear we are destined to be a mid table championship club at best. I actually don’t blame Peace who I feel did a lot for the development of the club in his time but have wasted all those continuous years in the PL. Right now, it appears a total shambles
To a extent peace did a lot for the club but wouldn't budge on 200 million sale
If he had we would have been owned by the Fosuns now, guess who they own, what ambition they have show? and where are they now?
So In away I do blame Peace he always wanted us to be a mid table championship club didn't he Whistle

I know what you’re saying, Beefy, but I think the Fosuns are quite unusual. The majority of PL teams like the Albion are just looking to survive in the league and that is about the limit of their ambition. I do feel we made some shocking decisions during the last 12 months that undid so much of the good work over the previous few years. I feel hacked off that those good times under Hodgson and, for a time, Clarke have been needlessly thrown away
