Brighton & Huddersfield coming up so those wins are going to be important as we fall down the table in the coming weeks. Whistle

Im with you dont think im happy clapping away ! but i think today was a MASSIVE result a clean sheet and an away win ? weve been wanting this since the season started so im optamistic Huh Brighton will be tough as they will want to revenge us ! but who knows they are shit at hillsborough they always have been even since i was a kid ? so let them play and not worry too much about winning and more about a clean sheet Thumb up as for Hudderfield and they play some great football like us . but not as good and they dont have the talent we do ! on paper we batter them to pieces maybe this day the stars will come out to shine ? again defence is going to win the day and when youve got fessi hooper and fletcher upfront then youve got the edge Thumb up play them at our game but let them think its there game and bang better strikers will do the job Thumb up take that naki wells to one side and batter the little xxxx is also a good plan Whistle

Three Points On the Road

A very professional job as we got the goal and then defended efficiently. Maybe it would have been better for the heart rate had we got the second goal but we always looked the more likely side to get the second as Blackburn rarely threatened.

After a slow start, we gradually took control with Fletcher firing home from 20 yards after a neat passing move. We had several chances before half time with Fletcher, Palmer & Bannan all going close. The full backs got forward well, Bannan controlled midfield while Fletcher & Hooper linked well up front.

We were still the better side in the second half with Lee going close from 25 yards. We had a scare when Emnes fired home but the assistant's flag saved us. After that we saw the game out comfortably.

Westwood - 7
Palmer - 8
Lees - 7
Hutchinson - 7
Reach - 7
Buckley - 7
Lee - 7

We have broken our away win duck with a professional performance. Now we need to continue our good home form with a win against Brighton on Saturday; hopefully a repeat of our Playoff Semi-Final victory.

It has been some time since we had a good left footed striker, Fletch seems to catch out a lot of defenders and goalkeepers doesn't he?

I know your question isn't directed at me Imre. But I though Buckley has done enough to keep Wallace out. Jones is looking a good signing, making Abdi look more and more expensive every game. I'm sure Abdi will come good though.

The problem Abdi has is for him to be a regular in the team we have to leave out Lee, Bannan or Forestieri and at the moment I still think they are ahead of him on the team sheet. Wallace is a funny one, he creates quite a bit, chips in with goals, is good with set pieces sometimes but is really not a winger as such so doesn't maybe provide out and out width.

wallace will win us points along the road with fantastic goals from nothing here and there ! but he goes missing for half an hour when picked in the starting line up which sometimes ships in goals !! so maybe Buckley is doing the oposite so to speak he plays more compact or lets say doesnt go missing ! but he hasnt yet gave me any proof that he might win us games ? Abdi doesnt put a foot wrong but doesnt do anything spectacular either ? not what youd exspect for the money we paid ? but watford fans did say every now and then he pops up and wins a game ? his only saving grace now is Hutch is out so he better pop up quick while he still has chance cos for me he is behind everyone we have at the moment in midfield jones bannan wallace buckley lee and then theres Reach when pudil comes back ? although i doubt this will happen as edmongo was only bought to keep dielna sasso bus matiass mcgugan and melo as whispered threats to the first team !!

Newcastle 1 up in the auto promotion game !

Jones is a good signing. But him Bannan and Lee for me are a certain level. Abdi has the X factor to win us games while it's harder to see in the other players apart from Lee who has popped up with a few goals. I would love to see Reach higher up the field with his pace as I think that would create more room for FF, Fletcher and the rest. Buckley does need a run of few games in the side to get up to match sharpeness. Who plays wide against Brighton ? Wallace who scored against them in the playoffs or Buckley who I think is an X player of there's ?
If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, you need a team....
