Match Thread - SWFC v Wigan
We're missing one player who can grab the game by the scruff of the neck in CM and won't hide from tackles. teams better than wigan will walk through us if we dont. The perfect player went up to Glasgow this summer to play for rangers Whistle

And that player is really struggling up there!!! We have Hutch and maybe Jones who can do that, but they need to be played there!! With Loovens back, maybe CC will move Hutch back into CM.

What id do is get loovens back in and put hutch in midfield. Drop Lee and play a sort of 433 with hutch abdi and bannan in midfield

Problem is hutch is better at cb so we either make do until then with him in cm then get someone or keep him cb and worry losing midfield

Having watched the highlights and speaking to a friend that went. I get the feeling Abdi hasn't clicked yet, and he may need to sit out the Brizzle game to make way for Hutch in midfield. Loovens might be back to partner Lees if not, Sasso should be in the mix.

Drop Wallace as well, Jones/Buckley/Reach should start.

I would like to see what the new guy Emanuelson has to offer, perhaps an appearance from the bench..

Fletcher looked sharp, won all his headers. Much improved version of Dave

Abdi didn't do anything wrong but didn't do anything flashy either, just kept things ticking along. He attempted 41 passes and completed them all just nothing incisive.

Nothing great will ever be achieved without great men, and men are great only if they are determined to be so. For glory gives herself only to those who have always dreamed of her.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=adGQk3uyFGY after watching the highlights im not sure what we should do ? i meen it could have easly been 6-2 to us , so do we stay the same and hope that against Bristol it all falls into place or do we tweak it with different players ?

In fairness too wallace he did very well to get into his 2 goal misses and on any other day he would have put away 1 at least . so do we give him another chance or bring in Reach ?

As for abdi he linked up well and like owlskev says didnt do anything wrong but didnt do anything spectacular either ? is that his fault as for me Jones was bought to do this and probably does it better ? so is abdi worth a shot in a free role on tuesday night instead of bringing in new boy reach ?

And last but not least Hutch and does he go into an allready packed midfield where jones surely should come back into ? and if he does do we rely on Loovens again who cant play with the ball on the ground for shit ? but is certainley ten times better in the air than hutch ! its a hard call ?

I know one thing that when we play Villa or Newcastle away maybe our hardest games that we could play Hutch Jones Bannan lee and abdi in a midfield 5 and strangle the xxxx out off any flair thrown our way !! but against bristol we have to be more open obviously leaving holes against weeker players such as palmer pudil and loovens !

too much crap for cc to deal with !! hes a top prize twat and could bring any dressing room to its knees !!

Villa not setting this league on fire 2-2 at home to the trees ? good result for us that leaving top 6 up for grabs on tuesday saturday night Whistle

Wallace, for me is one of the older, experienced players. Blowing hot & cold isn't good enough and starting a game from the bench might smack his arse. I'm sure he likes playing with Bannan & Fletch though. It gives someone else a chance to see what they can offer too.
