Hibs (and Rangers) finally served with the SFA's notice of complaint!
#11
Are these plebs referring to 'verbal assaults' and getting 'their blue noses rubbed in it' by a celebratory Hibs support or are we looking at all these poor Rangers players being pummeled all over the Hampden pitch and it was so severe that some of them were admitted to the nearest A&E? As previously said - no dignity in defeat and no humility whatsoever! I'm sure the officials at the SFA 'know the score' re the Rangers version of events that followed our huge victory over them and lets look forward to the next time they get 'pumped' in a big match and we can observe their usual 'bad losers' reaction because factions of their support are consistently good at this kinda unsavoury 'over the top' response to being beaten by a better side than them!!! Thumb down

Can someone explain to me why the only charges that could be brought are the ones relating to the damage to the pitch, goalpost and advertising hoardings?? Why can clubs not be punished for a pitch invasion?? Not saying they should be and not particualrly referring to this one game, but surely as that is technically a criminal offence at a football stadium these days then surely it is something the SFA can charge any club with??

I take it no action will be taken over flares and singing their sectarian cr*p ?

Was there no mention of an attempted child abduction?

Apparently SFA rule 311 is the only applicable one that the SFA can use! It shows us how backward and 'behind the times' our governing footie association actually is! I'm guessing this was set up long ago as a bit of a 'kop out' that places the onus firmly on other authoratitive bodies to mete out any punishment that is deemed appropriate, for criminal offences etc.

and still nae pictures, from the many cameras that were there, of bloodstained huns, players or officials, dragging themselves painfully of the pitch. SCO i think the reason neither club is being done for the pitch invasion is security was the SFAs responsibility, any criminal actions will be dealt wi' by the polis. GGTTH

Re the SFA's responsibilities that cover the management of such a prestigious Scottish Cup final, I must add another convenient omission was the crowd arrangement that placed Hibs fans in the South Stand located below missile-throwing Rangers fans in the upper areas. That decision was absolute folly and worthy of further prosecution by Hibs fans as it's been well known for years by most Scottish footie fans that certain factions of Huns have persisted in throwing missiles etc at opposing fans and particularly at Ibrox - so much for proper policing and security enforcement!!!! Thumb down
Lastly, I think Hibs formal and informal responses, post Scottish Cup win, has been exemplary compared with the immature reaction and statements that keep filtering out of Ibrox (and the Rangers biased media 'rags' that cling to the Govan club like limpets) and the SFA officials could not fail to notice the difference.

I'm so glad it was them that we broke our cup hoodoo against, And to do it with 2 late goals just makes it even sweeter.

They "hibsed" it. That's what all these statements and wailing in the press is about. Deflecting from their defeat, even on here they were certain of winning.

At the beginning all the reports blamed hibs fans for ruining the cup final all written by CRAP REPORTERS. As mentioned a million times now by our posters NO ACTION TAKEN AGAINST - Smoke bombs -sectarian songs - fans running onto park to protect their players.

As 0762 mentioned before Hibernian Fc should ask all their supporters to dump all the Rags that reported on Hibernian Fc given us bad publicity and kick them into the GUTTER where they belong.

Lets HIBSED THEM
