Hibs v Morton, Sat 27 Aug 2016, KO 3.00pm

Another home game for Hibs and there's an element of 'payback' in this match after last season's surprise loss to Jim Duffy's team that signalled a drop in Hibs challenge to win the Championship. I'm looking for an emphatic win that will maximise our pts total so far. 'Rocky' Marciano looks like he'll finally make his 1st team debut in the Hibs goal and Fraser Fyvie may well start although Shinnie may be given that midfield spot. Our strongest side will gradually unfold from here on in!

Hope not, or it might tempt TWG back again out of exile! Let's even it up with a 3-0 Hibs win.

Good win, and revenge for that disaster last season.

Good all round performance with Shinnie, Fyvie and McGinn looking good in midfield. McGregor was superb at the back.

4 goals, 4 headers and 4 different goal scorers with a goal for the newcomers. Couldn't tell about Rocky as he didn't have a shot to save.

Onwards and upwards

Just back from the game and that was pretty satisfying, lennon has brought in some big strong players so we don't have to constantly play through teams although we can do that too.

The emphasis is more on getting the ball out wide and into the box quickly. Really pleased with how its going.

Just posted that, seems we are working on a deal for another player...perhaps hately ? although paul hartley seems confident he would be going to dundee.

Great start to the season, now let's hope you keep it going and build that gap so that you can survive any dip in results that generally comes at some point during the season.

Very professional performance dominated the whole game without any threat from a very poor Morton team. Think the difference this season is Neil Lennon he gave big marv it tight for picking up the wrong player in the first half having him barking out instructions is defo helping Hibs fight their way through the match

Another great crowd 14.500 goal of the day goes to Jason Cummings very well worked Thumb up
