You know some of this transfer speculation c**P has to be based on other teams trying to destabilize and distract a group that has a lot of team spirit and try to cause us to xxxx us up this year - just like market rivals do in business.

Fortunately, it appears we are not falling for that and increasing our spirit through the extended contracts.
Obviously everyone has a price that can't be refused but if McCormack is worth $12M then FF is worth at least $15M or $45M in the PL so hopefully his is about to become a 5yr one too.

Also, with the exceptions of the no squad-number group, CC is always keen to praise the 'group dynamic' rather than just big up individuals and the no-ego personality is part of what he looks for when signing permenants or loans.
It would be great to be a fly on the wall at his team talks to see what he says .

I'm happy with signing Bennet. It makes sense as to why he wasn't in the Villa squad this weekend. And I think Villa fans won't be happy at the news ether after he had a great pre-season with them.

Those selfies Fletch took of his head stitched up are making the rounds. It looks horrible, 5-6" gash. Amazing he wasn't concussed. I hope it's purely superficial and he's back in action soon.

I can't fathom why he hasn't come back?? Maybe they are working away in the background but there have been no rumours at all about him!!

He own't be playing with that injury for a couple of weeks unless they have a way to protect it, maybe a Llera cap would do the job but it will open up easily if he heads the ball too often!!
