How is Watford's defence recently? Think they let goals in at the beginning of the season but were outscoring teams. Hopefully them coming up against the best (form) defence in the league we could get a result from this

...but SG lies!!!!!
At least he has for about the last half dozen matches.

Makes for a good game on paper doesn't it, especially if we have a close to fully fit squad. They do have some very adept finishers so L & L will be busy at CB.
Question is who starts on the wing out of, Maghoma, Helan, Drenthe, Hope ?
No Zayatte so Imre will be happy

Maghoma and Helan if we're going 442.
I'd possibly go 433: Semedo, hutch and lee in midfield. Maghoma, Nuhiu and May front 3

I would give Madine, Drenthe, Helan & Hutch a starting role. We all know he will go 442 , we are so predictable to play against at home, so I expect Watford to play 3 central midfielders, like everybody else seem to do at Hillsborough. We got tonked 1-4 last season and we were very poor defensively that day, should be much tighter tomorrow though.

I can see the reasoning behind Madine. Maybe give him and Nuhiu a half each like at Leeds. Don't think I'd change both wingers though so I'd stick with Maghoma and bring in Helan

I can't see SG making that many changes especially after everyone should be fresh after the break. Obviously Maguire being out is forced on him and I wonder if he will replace him with Maguire and put Palmer out on the right side of midfield, with Buxton at RB. That would be a bit of a kick in the teeth for Drenthe and Hope but as we don't own them anyway I am not too bothered about that!!
