WFC - Wednesday Football Club, sometimes think we should go back to the name The Wednesday!!!

I know Pei was at this game, was anyone else? Not many English teams can show Pele in front of a full Kop!!

Here is a picture that shows how the money in football has dramatically changed!!!!!  Siggi Jonsson looking very happy with this Ford Fiesta!!!!! Siggi was a good player but never fully realized his potential!! First and so far only Icelandic Owl I think??

Something i have never seen is a photo of the Queen opening the new Kop in 1986. Was there that day and still have the programme but can't remember seeing a photo anywhere. Has anyone got any that they can post????

Remember going on the kop for the first time in the winter of the 66/67 season with my grandad. Just thought the atmosphere was amazing. We stood at the highest point at the back and we beat Chelsea 6-1. Oh how times have changed.
The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.

I did go to a game when Pele played. Didn't wear a flat cap in those days.

But I do now!! Laugh
