Match Thread - SWFC v Rotherham
Agree with what you said on all players there Imre. I think cc spoke reasonably well. He was obviously trying to deflect as much negative as he could to the loss....CC knows are limitations but is trying not to be drawn on them at the minute.

I think he did stateside but what can he do only play the best players we have. Joao for Nuhiu would have been the only player you could change..... if we didn't score first then he knew they'd park the bus. We started slow, who's to blame there ?? Him or the players ?? Maybe him but these are players with very little competition for place so...look who is in competition with lee, bannan and hooper. McGugan who is a waste and no other striker.

BvEven I find this result hard to take and I'm sat here drinking a sangria. Came to Mexico for decent weather and it's pissed it down all day. Well at least you didn't have me to contend with complaining about Nuhiu. Imre did that for me. Doh

44 f'in 2!

That's eleven games we have started 442 & we have won one.

Notts County manager, Ricardo Moniz described him as arrogant after he gave Villa a penalty in a LC tie when there was no contact (sound familiar?). He was involved in a mass confrontation with Fulham players last season after a controversial double yellow card incident against Leeds.

This season he has issued 87 yellow cards & one red card (a handball on the line) from 24 matches (13 in SBC).

He has a limited record with Wednesday:

Sept 15 - Newcastle 0-1 OWLS - 4Y (LC)
Nov 14 - OWLS 2-1 Wigan - 5Y

Two matches, two wins so maybe a lucky referee. He has a reputation for allowing a certain amount of rough stuff. All red cards that he has issued in this division have been to foreign players.

Obviously Warnock did his homework on the referee and CC did not.

I didn't see the game but how do we make out that Warnock did his homework on the ref and CC didn't ?? I find that hard to believe in this day and age. We aren't a big hoof ball rough team so how can CC and the players adapt to that style or have I missed something ? This is where we do need Hutch. CC played our biggest bull in a china shop type player in Nuhiu when a lot of us here wanted Joao....so what's he suppose to do ?

442 is a mistake by CC but then I look at "the best" players we have ready to play at the minute and they fit better into a 442 formation...... Or do we want him to play square pegs into round holes ? I do prefer the 4321 formation but players for that formation weren't available.

not sure about the ref ? but warnock ( sorry cc ) committed suicide playing 4-4-2 and trying to match them when all we have is that big f-cuking fairy upfront ?

First thing we need to do is send McGeady back, he's way off the pace and playing terribly. He should start with the formation we finished with yesterday, maybe give Matias or even Lopez a start just to freshen things up a bit. I wonder how close Hutch is to returning?

We're working with one arm tied behind our backs without Hutch & FF

Hooper's goal still looks onside to me at the time of his run. So even if one goal was disallowed, and two penalty decisions were turned down. We should've had one goal stand. Doh

Anyone looking to make some money, throw a few quid on Brighton to win. I can almost guarantee the officials are already working on a way for it to happen no matter what.
At least the referees are consistent though, I can't wait to see what the next set of crooks pull off. Laugh
