They have just shown the Brunt incident on tv over here!! He was taking his shirt off to give to a fan and got hit right under the eye with a 50p coin, left a cut on his face. He went ballistic, seemed to be pointing to the guy who threw it but from what they showed here there was a group of fans hurling abuse back at him!!! WBA have a great reputation as a club and for the fans, I really hope this split in the fans over Pulis doesn't start to ruin that for you!!

Unfortunately, the fans are polarised by their diametrically differing opinions of Tony Pulis and tempers will spill over at games like this, but the results, and more so the performances, speak for themselves and cannot be ignored. Jeremy Peace is a Baggies fan and he surely cannot continue watching the sort of football where we simply don't turn up.
Where are you, St Charles Owl? Europe?

No, I am in the US, in California to be more precise. Your game was live on tv over here and the incident was just shown on Fox Sports over here during the halftime of the Bournemouth v Everton game.

I'm ashamed to be an Albion fan. I never thought one of our fans would stoop so low. There's never an excuse to resort to throwing anything at players. No matter what, it's a game. xxxx Shankley and his bollocks. It's a game! We are a public disgrace because of this wanker.

I'm not ashamed because he doesn't represent me.
If I knew who it was, he or she would be in police custody now, and that's all any of us can do.

You're right, Moses. In the past I've looked at other supporters and have seen this ultra aggressive chanting with hate and real violence simmering just below the surface, and have been thankful that I support who I do.
When I see THIS happening,  a cowardly, criminal act of violence, by one of OUR "supporters", it makes me totally ashamed.

I thoroughly agree with the sentiments already expressed regarding the coin throwing. It's disgraceful and there is no excuse. However the team and particular players performed today, Chris Brunt has been a thoroughly decent bloke, a very good player for this club and has never once, to my knowledge, expressed anything but commitment to the Baggies. Neither he, nor any other player, deserves such treatment. I'm sure the bloke who threw the coin doesn't read this but, if by some miracle he's literate, then, mate, you're a shit and you should just piss off and "support" some other team.

Sadly, very sadly, one could see this coming and I agree, there will never be any possible excuse for physically abusing any player no matter what the fans have experienced. Demonstrate verbally is one thing but throwing missiles is very much another.

From the moment of his appointment, Pulis has divided our beloved club as no other Manager or Head Coach has in the past and what has happened today is the culmination of that division caused solely by Pulis and his tactics. It is a carbon copy of the division that existed with the Stoke supporters and that division and their dreadful quality of football was only lifted when he was dismissed by Stoke.

If JP and Pulis cannot see what is happening to our club through the 'Pulis method', they must suffer from cataracts.
If Pulis had any self respect he would see that and walk away immediately.

We are at the top of a festering volcano that needs calming and Pulis out is the only answer. Otherwise, things will get worse.

So sad.
