Scottish fitba ref Craig Thomson - partial, impartial or just a total Hearts numpty?

There were millimetres in that offside goal hibeejim - so much for giving the attacking player the 'benefit of the doubt'! Cool

Thomson officiating the replay match at ER and I must say I'm still wary of this Hearts numpty 'pulling a rabbit out the hat' to benefit his team! History tells us it won't benefit Hibs. I'm looking at Hibs unbeaten home record v Thomson's ridiculous unbeaten record for Hearts in derby matches since his scottish league ref career began in 2002 - something has to give!

Apologies Fredster. I assumed the officiating ref automatically took the replay as I think is  practised down south (?) I never bothered to even check.
Good news although, as hibeejim has alluded,, Beaton has not been the best of refs in recent times but there's no historcical shit attached to him. So Thomson's shocking unbeaten derby record is indeed intact anyway!

Its an interesting discussion though.....why couldn't Scottish officials be corrupt or biased?

All over Europe you have proven instances but yet Scotland somehow remains crammed with dignity and decency.

I think xxxx not.

I agree hibeejim and debated this issue many times with other fans down the years but rarely on any forum. Proving it is the difficulty TBF! I watched the Clattenberg clanger at the Etihad (City v Spurs) on Sunday and thought that pen decision was highly suspicious. Also IMO some refs don't necesaarily fix matches for money although it is obviously one reason.
