We don't want to waste the good progress made so far by not getting a result in this game. Whilst Cardiff didn't trouble us much in what is now League 1 before they threw some brass at it, we have still to beat them since we got promoted to the Championship. Due 3 points then.

Well nah then, was that a penalty for handball early in the second half or not? Well in comparison to what they are replaying on BT Sport right now (7:45 ish Sat night)for the Leeeverpool v Wes' Aaarm game:
The Cardiff defender was cradling the baby, sorry ball, in his arms for long enough to feed it a full bottle, burp it, change it's nappy and put it back in it's cot. Apart from that it was totally accidental and there was no way on earth any of the 3 blind mice could have seen it. Otherwise we blew chances to get in front, gifted them the ball to let them rip us apart twice and their free kick goal should have been a penalty.
Missed our first goal while shaking ice cubes off the end of wee willy winky and was almost by the exit gate when we got the second. Otherwise bloody frozen which might not be a good thing after a week of the flu. Maybe more to say tomorrow when I've thawed out.

Usual story for me. We had plenty of chances to their few, difference being that the opposition take theirs. That said, I don't feel doomed. In fact I am confident the plan will come together. It was good to see them fighting on at 1-3 in miserable conditions.
Thank heavens for thermals. Felt like we had to walk through a blizzard going back to the car.

Wah hey, AmChaff back alive and kicking. Come on Wakey, where have you hidden Mizzi since you made an honest woman of her and moved her out of Railway Cuttings, East Cheam? We know you brought her back into the glorious north ??? Huh? Huh? You ladies need to post more often.

Terrible game, off the pace for most of it, disjointed and leadership less. Cardiff were solid but didnt have to be spectacular to go away with the points. Whittington's free kick was superb, the strike before that Steer turned onto the post even better.
Once we got level just before half time a great turn and strike by Wells, we should have kicked on but the usual suspects went missing Dempsey ( becoming a 45 minute player) Rolf Davidson at left back how is he keeping out Husband? Bet Lynch just didnt look interested and with all that no Lolley or Scanz to run directly at their defence, the Ali Baba chap looked bright first half but didnt think he got enough of the ball 2nd.
Mad weather, cold n dismal and that's about it.
The atmosphere on our side was boosted by what must have 200 friends and acquaintances of the lad that died, well done Cardiff fans ( perhaps 300 the lowest following they've brought for years - so it cant be all rosey in South Wales) but after a HT pint they all went back up town and everything just fizzled out till Bunny rammed home in 92 mins to excite the 2000 that were still in their seats for another 90 seconds.
