Sorry have to disagree with Olsson. He's awful, cannot pass along the ground and every time he hoofs it forward it goes nowhere. He needs to be moved on

January tidy ;-) But have no fear all the top world class strikers are queuing at the door to join Albion A because we're top of the league B because we are far superior to Manc U and C Arse Tot Liver and bacon et al! and C because we can afford Billy Big Nob wages and pamper the little darlings every time they bang them in for us. lol
Touch of realism required peeps. If you want to lay blame at anyone's door how about The boy with the sulky sorry silky skills berahasbeen. As far as I'm concerned once this wrapped in cotton wool nurtured thru our academy for 10 effin years at JP's expense started to show promise. Well feck me sideways if he aint too good for little old albion now? and that ladies and gentleman was the end of our real potential goal threat. Hence my previous post about how its our defenders that score not our strikers. TP has had to manage this little nerk and try to figure out a way of getting him back on board but its obvious he aint interested did anyone see his goal celebration at Bristol City? NO? well that cos there wasn't one In fact he shrugged Dawson off when he came over to congratulate him. Prat! Rondon imo needs time, anyone new to the prem according to every knowledgeable footballing player pundit coach etc says so. Yes some hit the ground running but most others adapt over time. Does anyone remember De Gea when he first joined Manu? Lets not write Ron off yet. After all I'm starting to hear some say we shouldn't have been to hasty over shifting ideye yet when we had him most of us were saying waste of £10 mill sound familiar? just add £2 mill more. So what's left? Big Vic? A real shame cos he looks at times like a bulldozer and he can turn a defender like the best of them. He just cannot stay fit and his strike rate is woeful. Lambert? I for one thought this was a good signing. I figured that his time at liverpool was a bit of a bad patch maybe just didn't suit the style who knows but this guy really hasn't hit the ground running. What's happened to him since his Southampton days? A goal every two games and he was in the England set up. Maybe he's just peaked and too old to be a striker anymore? Attacking midfield at best perhaps? TP has already said we will be feeding off crumbs when it comes to Jan signings and he's right because he's realistic. Once all the starlets have flown to the top 6 we will be looking at some of their rejects again. And only if we sell some to get the funding. TP and JP don't see eye to eye I reckon but they are both honest and will say their piece no pun intended :-) So they probably have mutual respect but TP has already made comments about how the club is run extremely efficiently but read between the lines and what he means is their aint many coffers to offer this Jan as we will see come Feb. Right I've ranted enough. Don't take offence anybody I'm just bored as I'm still Ill and I thought I'd idle some time away with my views :-)

Big Vic could be available this weekend and could elevate himself to legend status if he performs to the same level as he did last time out.

We are an MG Midget in a formula 1 race, we struggle to hold our own and to stay up. Prime example, in the summer Austin £15 million we were interested, January £4 million goes to saints but on 100, 000 a week, to rich for us. The pressure of the premier league is results here and now, sometimes it takes patience, sir Alex was a game a way from the tin tack, look how that finished, give Tp time, give Rondon time, years of underperforming in transfers will take time to correct, mass change does not work ask vile, I have been Albion since the early 70's i crave success and trophies like the next baggie but I am a realist .... unless we get Harry Potter as head coach overnight magic ain't gonna work. Come on you Baggies.

Bout the same amount of time I have supported them 4eva. I remember as a kid Bomber Brown Willie Johnstone Ally Brown Laurie Cyril Brendon Batson Robson Wile Statham Osborne et al They were heroes to me. Whenever we lost I'd sulk under my parents dining table in the kit with a number 8 on the back who would that have been I wonder?. I'm past that stage now lol. Well the under the table bit at least! These players stuck by and large with their team for years, (well that was until champagne Ron went to Man Utd and nicked half the squad.) Nowadays all footballers want is bigger cheques bigger teams and bigger egos. Berahino is a prime example Oh and remember that other nob Odemwingie. Isn't he warming his arse on stoke's bench these days wow real career move that (still he could have been in the championship with QPR lol!) and thats what berahino will be doing if he goes I guess that's why he's warming our bench too. TP is preparing him for his new role ha ha ha ha:-)

Val, what a great post, what great names, what a team ....... lived in Reading when mother remarried, a baggie from Dudley, the rest is history. I have attended one semi 78 ..... very long journey back, missed the league cup games against spuds and the FA cup games against Qpr and Portsmouth. Went to Wembley against port vale and derby. But no silverware ..... and that 70's team deserved silverware.

But no silverware ..... and that 70's team deserved silverware. Thanks buddy. It was a great time for us. I was born in tamworth but I must confess I had an entire villa family dad brother uncle aunt so they used to take me to villa park as a kid for some bizarre reason I must have seen the baggies there when I was 6 or 7 and that was it for me much to the disappointment of my folks lol! I remember getting lost at villa park once the staff were really kind and looked after me took me to the offices and made an announcement over the tannoy that a little boy had been found and was now waching the game in a seat near the tunnel instead of stood in the holte end. You should have seen the stewards faces when they found me and were chatting away and said to me "how long have you supported villa then lad" my stern reply that "I'm a baggie" evoked a response of "OH dear perhaps we should lose you again then" lololol! I must also admit I totally lost interest in football as I embarked on a music career in London it was the mid 80's the hooligan element had really put me off the sport plus the cost and my inability to cope with losing and to all intents and purposes looking back the 80's and 90's were not our finest anyway. I actually saw a bloke in a wba shirt walk past my parents in somerset a few years back and it turns out he actually played for us in the 90's and er wasn't that great ahem! anyway I digress not until Megson in 2000 did i start to take a real interest again and we all know what a roller coaster its been since. I still cannot tolerate losing but the sulking only lasts an hour or so and I blank it out these days. I was actually working at wembley the week before the Derby final. My company were doing sound tests through a big PA to check noise levels outside the ground and I ignored the keep off the grass sign and put a foot in the goal mouth wished the baggies good luck and look what bloody well happened. Thats' why I know I'm a jinx lol!
