Latest signing is apparently Joe Bennett a LB from Villa.

If that is the case it may explain why Pudil has yet to be offered a contract.

Pudil may not want to sign. Watford may not want him pudili could be holding out for other options. Could also be that Wiggins may be on his way if the Bennet rumour is true.
We are in a difficult situation wit Hooper. Norwich know he is worth a lot to us, so can up the price, 3m, 5m, maybe ?? Also teams in the lower half of the pl will be sniffing around a fit goal scoring striker who can be bought for relatively fook all. The only advantage we have there is that Nirwich will not want to help / sell him to there relegation rivals. They themselves are in trouble up front and I can see them holding onto him now until the summer in there fight.
One thing I like is CC has said on numerous occasions that Hooper is his number 1 target and always has been. Hopefully that will be in Hoopers head, a club and manager who want him.
If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, you need a team....

CC is saying & doing the right things re Hooper. By saying number one target, he suggests that we move on to number two target if Norwich want to get awkward in negotiations.
From what I hear, we have already agreed a fee with Norwich but we cannot afford Hooper's current wages so need to find a way to agree a deal. Hopefully being loved, playing, scoring & being in a winning team will help.

If the lB rumour happens then thank god !! because although i like Pudil he sometimes plays like he couldnt give a shit due to the fact wiggins isnt competition for anyone ? and if its only hoopers wages being a problem then the solution is simple isnt it ? sell bus dielna laverey and send turner back to norwich so he can sit on there sick bench !!
What i should imagine will happen now is they will take him back to training and see whos agents come sniffing next week ? he wont be in our lineup next saturday i just cant see it !!
and to another point id like to say well done mr chansiri for telling Bolton to go and xxxx themselves !! he wasnt that good anyway and i will get far more satisfaction watching them go into admin next week !! It makes me laugh that they treid blaming us and o wait a minute arnt they in this mess in the first place due to dodgy goings on in there backroom ??
worrying thought wildsmith is out for a few weeks !! and knowbody knows whats happening with westwood and cc thinks price is great ( reading will have a birthday it will be 5 -0 before HT )
also turner and lees still one week away from training ?

Wiggins is talking to Bristol City so cover at LB is needed. Pudil is generally sound but he was another that didn't look as good in a 442.
I would like to think that it is just a question of dotting the Is & crossing the Ts to get Hooper.
The Davies deal fell down with the player rather than Bolton really. it just screws Bolton over.

This is the stage I was under the impression we were at last week. Various sources claimed we had indeed put the bid in, others couldn't confirm. As you say, it's here I hope Hooper takes a little pay cut in order to be somewhere he is appreciated and fits in...
I think Price is decent enough for number 3 keeper. he wasn't shocking yesterday by any means and to be fair that was his first real start in a big derby. It can't be great for your confidence to be next in line behind a kid. Looking at his career he's never been first choice anywhere since he left Ipswich 8 years ago. Since then he's played maybe a handful of games per season.
18 starts for Crawley last season before we signed him.
He hasn't had any lengthy spells in the top flight, hardly any game time for a 31 year old GK.
He'll be one of the first released I expect. He's needed now though

Agree with Imre, Norwich will hold onto Hooper until the last minute of the transfer window. We will have other targets lined up buts that's no use 30 seconds before the window closes when we are told Hooper gone to fookknowswhere.
Turner can be sent back, Sasso is good enough along with Lees, Loovens and Hutch. No need to waste money on Turners wages when he is sat in the treat room. Think Bus may be kept until we know what's happening with Hooper. Time for Joao to stand up and be counted over the next few weeks.
Crazy to think are play off bid feels under threat by a transfer window.
