Carayol gone back to boro, apologies if this has been posted already. Town exercised the break clause in the loan spell, thank god. Him and Vaughan going could free up some wages for another striker. I don't think we need four wingers in all honesty, I think bunn, lolley and scanz rotated will do us and keep them all fresh. Pato can play wing too. Let's give Wagner money to go get a striker. I think we use one of the s academy lads as cover for centre back and see how he does but crainie lynch Hudson with smith deployed at CB is good enough for me.

Think we may see a new striker come in but he may be able to play out wide too. Think our signings may be more versatile in nature

If Wagner wants players to fit his style of play I'm not sure we'll need another big no 9. We'll need physically strong and quick players that can probably interchange between attacking positions so I think your spot on JJ, just seen Leicester are looking to sign a left back from abroad. Surely this would mean we could get chilwell back? How's he going to get game time with schlupp and this lad pereira in front of him.

Think chilwell may go to one of the prem big boys. Use the money from chilwell to fund the new guy

Be interesting to see if Coogans features in future plans as he was regarded as a really sharp and precocious talent when at Airdrie. He's featured a few times for Q of S but of course they've just had their mid season break. I'm really impressed with the way Wagner regards the club as a whole. Very refreshing.

im not expecting a huge amount of business to be honest, in january most players are vastly overpriced and i dont think there is a huge amount of cash to splash around, Wagner by the sounds of it will be very careful who he signs , which is fine by me , signing a player is easy , signing the right player is a lot more tricky

As moderate UK players are vastly overpriced in transfer window, I wonder if Town might get one up and coming young German striker from the lower leagues??
A couple of reliable teutonic defenders wouldn't go amiss either.

You would have to think that Wagner has enough contacts in Germany to know of some decent players who as you say will be much cheaper than English players of similar quality.

According to The Washington Post
Winger Joe Gyau will remain with Borussia Dortmund in his recovery from a knee injury, his father told the Insider. Huddersfield Town in England’s second tier had inquired about taking him on loan, but the German side preferred to keep him close. Huddersfield Coach David Wagner was Gyau’s guide with Dortmund II. What was that about lots of cover on the wings?
A guide to cask ale.
