Shall we have a transfer thread? aye why not, gives us something to talk about, or in recent years, nothing to talk about.
however new manager with new ideas surely equals new players right? i'd have thought that some would come from abroad so that could be interesting for us, we seem to have a mixed bag of results from our dealings abroad.
one deal that already may be happening is murray wallace leaving the club with scunthorpe and fleetwood both being interested, not sure whether it is a permenant deal or if it is just a loan deal. it does seem like wagner doesnt rate him as highly as other people who are/have been involved in the club, he has already fallen behind cranie for the centre half place. it would mean that we will be looking for a centre half come january though?

Wagner seems to be one of those guys who gives everybody a shot although he's only been at the helm for a short while. He's instilled a lot of confidence and belief in the squad and I think it might be counterproductive to bring in new players wholesale but there are certain areas ...
I haven't seen Wallace play but I feel a little sorry for him as he hasn't really featured under the new order and I hope we don't under value another Scottish player as I think we did with Scott Arfield. A buddy who coincidentally supports Falkirk rated him as a very good prospect. Having said that, you are the guys watching the gamesand are in the know. I also have faith in Wagner's judgement. Interesting times.
A good New Year to one and all. UTT!

the biggest asset town have in this transfer window is Wagner, players might not want to play for town but they might just want to play under Wagner

Murray has never had a sustained run in the squad. Powell sent him out to Scunny along with Lolley and though both came back, only Lolley has seen much time on the pitch under Wagner. Sometimes however your face just doesn't fit with the coaching set-up for little fault of your own and it's best to move on. Personally I'd prefer him to go on loan again rather than on a permanent deal.

Wallace gone to Sunny Scunny, likely gone for a fraction of the £300K we paid. So much for my input.

Chilwell gone back to Leicester too. I know which one I'd have back for the second half of the season.
