This team has a serious malady, and while I can admire Warburton's commitment to playing the way the wants to, the team obviously isn't always able to. We need a plan B and a plan C, and they have to be something better than bringing Dean Shiels on. Where's Law for a start? He'd be a much better option from the bench if not starting.

Aye. That's still correct. You'd understand that if you could get your head around the meaning of my statement.

PS. The gap is still three points. Neither team lost points over the other today.

We're always up against two banks of four packing the box and them trying to hit on the break against our over-committed defence. Is it our style of play that forces the opposition to do this? What would we have to do to draw these teams out more?

I'd be interested to find out how many teams 'park the bus' against Hibs this season.

Absolutely shocking defending at times, both goals where poor, we leave so many gaps at the back. And you could see their second coming all day. They deserved their point today.

SPFL2 (Championship) Saturday, 12/12/2015 : Rangers 2-2 Greenock Morton

For Rangers the story of this match was ahead (Miller), level (Tavenier OG), HT 1-1, behind, level (Waghorn) and Jason Holt should have clinched it in the last minute, but fired over the bar. Fortunately Hibernian also drew at home, so the points gap stays at 3 in favour of Rangers, with both teams having played 16 games.

Plenty sides play like that against us,st Mirren and alloa for instance were even more negative. They are entitled to set up how they want ffs some of the teams in the league are part time. The onus is on us having the greater resources to break them down.

Absolutely. I'm just wondering whether it is because of the way we set our tactics out that dictates that every team we play has to park the bus, because they all do, even Hibs sit back and hit on the break. If that's the case then what do we do to draw teams out and create space?

And given that Hibs are streets ahead of most of the rest of the league, why doesn't every team they play park the bus too? Surely it would make sense?

After scoring in the 2nd minute we had more opportunities to increase the score due to GM having to come out more to get on level terms; they could not afford to just 'park the bus'. Where our lads fell down today was in too much crossfield play, which was exacerbated by a lot of sloppy passing, Zelanem in particular and not for the first time either. That we were able to equalise GM's second goal almost at will underlined what I have seen before with Rangers : when our lads play direct, attacking, interpassing football they put the opposition under constant pressure and create the chances from which we get the goals.

Your main comment is still incorrect, as was your original one, but that's fine. However, your PS comment is correct.
Cabbage is still good for you
