I noticed that on the Beeb, it's not the first time they have shown Helan and captioned it as being Joao!!

The key for us now is to stay close to the playoff places. The top 4 seem set, Burnley have stuttered a bit and Brum are now on a par with the group we are in. I see no reason why we can't keep pace with Ipswich, Reading, Cardiff etc. if we do I think CC will have some money to spend in January to strengthen the squad and maybe push on further.

Deja Vu as points dropped at Blackburn

CC picks Nuhiu & Helan & we struggle. Replaces them with Joao & Hooper & we storm back. Where have I heard that before. Sadly we only storm back enough for a point. CC rested Joao, Wallace & Hunt and gave starts to Nuhiu, Sougou, Helan & Palmer. Sougou scored a goal and Palmer gave a good performance but Nuhiu & Helan offered very little.

We never look fluid when Nuhiu plays and this was already showing when Blackburn scored with a free header from a well worked corner. We lacked any cohesion and the ball just kept coming back. We equalised against the run of play when Lee's shot came back off the post, after he had cleverly worked the opening, and Sougou was in the right spot to tap in.

Moments later we were behind again. From another corner, we cleared it to the edge of the box when a shot deflected badly & left Westwood stranded. We give away too many free kicks & corners. Blackburn were no threat from open play.

At half time, Joao & Hooper came on & we started to look like a team again. FF got into the game more. Wallace replaced Sougou & we looked better still and deserved the late equaliser after Palmer beautifully picked out Lee, who totally sliced his shot but it fell perfectly for Joao to nod home.

I thought Palmer played better than Hunt has recently and while opposition teams have targeted Hunt, Blackburn realised that Palmer was less of a soft touch. While Palmer gets forward less than Hunt, his attacking efforts are more productive than Hunt's, who often gets lots of crosses in but rarely finds a Wednesday player.

Hooper is looking sharper with each match and I won't be surprised if he starts banging them in soon. However, he needs to be on the pitch to score & CC has to work out a way to get hooper into the team.

CC has to rotate his squad if we are to challenge for promotion but we are not going to score many goals with Nuhiu up front. He doesn't score many goals, FF doesn't play as well with him and we tend to play long ball and give away the ball. He has big decisions to make in the coming weeks because we play several of the contenders during December and we need to beat the likes of Derby, Boro, Cardiff & Birmingham if we want to go up. Players will have to be rested be he will have to be clever how he does it.

You actually do sound like a Blade peiowl Doh  when your arguement is pissed on Whistle  you dont debate it you just say stupid shit !!! maybe you should stick to baseball  Thumb up

And ignoring the silly old fool Whistle
I would like to move on with a debate about football if that is possible on here anymore Doh  can if we dont agree with something give reasons why Huh  and it also doesnt mean an arguement is won when the group likeing starts ( or should i say ass licking ) if you like a post why dont you give a reason why aswell Thumb up  i think this button should be called the shit stiring button Doh

Anyway i move on  Thumb up

For me loovens was at fault for the first goal , and therefor as we have another cb that is equally as good or if not better ? he should dropped To give competition here and we can look for some clean sheets out off the next two games  Thumb up i also like MS think exactly the same about the palmer hunt situation , but i think i prefer the attacks of hunt rather than palmers better defending  Thumb up

And as fo nuhui strange as it sounds we are going to need him on tuesday night for at least half a game because we dont have to win the game as a draw will do and i thought he got in Blackburns noses yesterday only to be ignored by what i thought was a shit ref  Thumb down

In the long run he has to be benched or shipped out Huh  but we will need him on tuesday night and hopefully for the semi final as premier teams dont fight the same as the championship teams and Nuhui is a player who gets on the nerves off others  Thumb up  weve seen evidence on this against the likes of Mancity Burnley Newcastle and did he play a part against Arsenal  Huh

It seems to be the general consensus that Nuhiu doesn't bring the best out of FF.

It's a tough one to say whom gets a start up front against Stoke. You could argue for and against Nuhiu. I wouldn't mind Hooper having a start. Nuhui will likely have foul after foul given against him playing Prem opposition.

Bannan. Integral to our success.

I really like what I've seen in glimpses of Sougou too. he seems like a great player to have from the bench.

CC must have taught the players better positioning also. these tap ins and rebounds we've been scoring this season. We'd have had players nowhere near the ball in times past

well for the stoke game ill be happy if we are 0-0 after 70 minutes , counter attack and sucker punch is the game we should play !! but the defence are going to have to play better than they have been doing over the last 4 games !! weve had quite a few goals knocked in against us ? is Turner fit ?

Maybe wiggins would also be a better option than pudil , who to me looks way out of position sometimes at the back ? allthough like Hunt he is a much better attacking force !!

Me saying "stupid shit?" That's rich. Whistle Whistle

Since when have I ever done that? Huh

I've always offered perceptive insights. Confused

For the Stoke game, I would definitely play Nuhiu the whole game. Then, we'll lose. Then we can concentrate on the league which is all that matters to me. Play our best players where it really counts. Then turrah Nuhiu. You've done your job. Whatever it was. Settle down well at Gillingham.
Thumb up Thumb up
And imre. say 3 Haily Marys and take a piss BEFORE you get in that cold shower. Laugh Laugh

There you go blade  Doh why should we throw away a chance of a first semi final and realy good chance to make the final avoiding man city that is  Sad we would look silly throwing away this chance and then not going up either , which at this moment seems highly unlikely to me anyway  Doh  this is also for the fans who im sure paid out a small fortune through the cup run  Thumb up  im all for throwing this cup in the bin in the 3rd round , but letting the fans keep paying and then throwing it , isnt fair  Thumb down

silly old old goat dont drop in tuesday please with your negative shit  Whistle
