Huddersfield will host the Rams on saturday for what will be a welcome return to saturday afternoon football at home. the last such game being over a month ago.
The terrier come into the game with a decent run of results behind them, having only lost once in the last 6 games winning 3 and drawing 2, they have also kept 2 clean sheets in a row. something that hasnt happened for a long time. Although results have been positive, Performances have been somewhat lackluster and towns lack of a clinical edge in the final third has been prominent, not more so than the last 2 games, although a draw and a win Vs Ipswich and MK dons are good results they were far from convincing. The Terriers seem capable of getting the ball into good positions but everything seems to break down once a final ball or shot is required.
Injuries and suspension see to be hitting the squad right now, the Terrier will certainly be without newly back into the fold James Vaughan who will be serving the 2nd of a 3 match ban for being a naughty boy ( how did the MK player stay on the pitch after doing much worse?) and questions remain over whether Dempsey ( illness) Hogg ( thigh) or Carayol ( family bereavement) will be available for for selection
With the squad threadbare through injuries and loan outs there were 2 bright spots in tuesdays uninspiring win, impressive cameos from Paterson and Bojaj, Paterson took his goal well and looked eager and while its far too early to pass an judgment on Bojaj he showed a good touch and awareness to set paterson up for his goal. both will be knocking on the door for more minutes on the pitch.

Derby come into the game in impressive for, they currently sit 7 points ahead of Town and outside the playoffs only on goal difference. although Draws ave defined the early part of their season ( 6 so far) the team has the 2nd best away record of any team in the division and have yet to lose on the road.
The talent in Derby's team will be very familiar to Huddersfield fans , Jacob Butterfield of course needs no introduction, but derby boasts other familiar names, Cyrus Christie ( a supposed one time target for town) Richard Keogh , a former town loan signing who played 9 games scoring 1 goal for the terriers and Thomas Ince who town have faced numerous times for various teams. another name on the minds of town fans will be Chris Martin, the Derby frontman has notched 7 goals so far this season.

Make no mistake if town are going to get any result from this game the whole team will have to be at their very best
Towns Probable Team
