Predictions for October

What's everyone's predictions for our 4 games in October?

Palace away
Sunderland home
Norwich away
Leicester home

Massive month for us this is, literally every game could and probably should be 3 points to be honest. My predictions are:

Palace 1-1 WBA
WBA 3-1 Sunderland
Norwich 0-1 WBA
WBA 1-1 Leicester

We are going to do what is expected of us.  That is,  4 points every 3 games.  That could
be 4 pts every 4 games or 4 pts every 5 games but that’s about the size of it.  Up to the
Everton game we were trundling along at our normal effort; nothing to write home
about at 2 wins, 2 draws and 2 losses = 40-50pts per season.  Doesn’t matter who coaches
us or who plays for us that is Albion in a nutshell.

Nothing will change.   The reason is Money,Money,Money and yet more Money.

You can watch as much football as you want; read a thousand articles and listen to
a million ex-pro’s pontificating about the state of the game but you will get just as
much worthwhile input by staring intently at a ten pound note.

One more thing.  You cannot talk about the “form” of a team this early in the season.
No team has played enough games to get any form yet.  The earliest time to look at
tables is after 10 games; and even that is very early.

We are not going to be higher than 10th but we won’t be relegated.  The only exciting
part of our season will be the last half dozen games.  All the rest of the excitement will
be reserved for the teams with Money, Money, Money, Money, Mo……………

Agree with it or not but if we get beat by Sunderland the crowd will turn the atmosphere in the ground is already non existent

As for predictions i can't make any because i can't work out what bizarre tactics/selections Pulis will make next

The atmosphere has been shite at the Hawthorns for absolutely ages now, even the Smethwick is quiet and that was the only area where there was any atmosphere beforehand.

Makes me glad I predominantly go to away games instead. Less moaning, more chants and banter  Thumb up

may get a point or 2 from that set of fixtures
but knowing pulis
he will probably play a back 4 comprised of strikers

Tibby, do you train or drive or coach down?

Stopped going to home games a few years back now, still go to the odd one or 2. I'd highly recommended away games if anyone is yet to go on one

I'll use the trains if it's a more local game but the coaches are always better for the more long distance away days. I do pick and choose a few home games a year as well but haven't had a season ticket for a while now.

Thinking of having a weeks holiday down Bournemouth in May to line up with when we're playing them. Their atmosphere puts ours to shame and their capacity is probably only 50% of ours.
