Sportsbabble will celebrate it’s 1st anniversary on Wednesday 2nd September.

Mark and I would like to thank you all for your support and participation and hope you continue to enjoy the forums for many years to come.

Maintaining the site using standard features from the developers is key for us as that assures of stability, ease of upgrade and most importantly almost 100% accessibility of you the users.

But we are assured that a new release of the MyBB software will be made available in the near future and that will bring new features and especially important for me a fully fledge mobile front end. I watch the development forum updates and although most of it is double dutch to me (thankfully not to Mark) there looks to be some great new features arriving in the next releases.

For me it’s all about the community and talking football and other sport and so it would be great if we could increase the membership across this season. If each of you all were able to encourage friends, colleagues, friends overseas, the bloke next to you at the match, basically anyone to come and join us maybe we could more than double the membership by this time next year?
