If and when Twato Berahino returns to work..... will he be booed in the same way Odemwhingie was ?

Unless he makes a public apology beforehand, I think we will see a repeat of what happened when Odemwhinger was about to come on as sub at The Hawthorns and the amount of booing and Whinger having verbals with an old boy, changed SC's mind and he stayed on the bench.

A genuine apology will solve the huge problem. Nothing else will.

He's deleted the private jet and never playing again tweets which is promising.

Agreed Bairdy, a move in the right direction deleting those Tweets but he needs to make that grovelling apology to JP, the club and the Baggie fans before we can even think about him wearing a first team shirt again.

I think Berahino's future will not be dependant on the fans reaction and whether he is boo'd, it will depend on what the reaction is from the other players. Not sure he is going to be accepted back with open arms from a lot of the players.

I hope things are sorted and he is back playing for us ASAP, i still think Saido and Rondon could be a good partnership, even if it is only until January.

His future is now in his own hands........ The same hands that produced those TWEETS and held his BALLOONS. Grow up chap. Say sorry (And mean it). Not just to me but every other person you insulted. Perform on the pitch and PROVE you are GOOD enough. Then Bugger off in Jan for £35 Mill. DD Angry Angry

Mail reporting SB to be offered new contract with £25 million buy out clause which is front loaded (fair enough what JP wanted) in return double wages.

West Brom will offer Tottenham target Saido Berahino a new contract with a £25m buyout clause, despite the 22-year-old striker apparently refusing to play for club chairman Jeremy Peace. (Sunday People) DD Whistle Whistle

Mixed feelings about this.....but think it's a clever way to get SB back WANTING to play, paying him a more decent wage (pro-rata, taking into account what others earn), and also almost giving him a real reason to want to play and increase his potential value in January - or next summer.
At least JP is holding out the olive branch; let's hope SB will do the right thing and accept it

Berahino has certainly lost any respect I might have had for him (this is very little as I have very little respect for most footballers with their arrogance and money). But, I would not boo a player wearing an Albion shirt, assuming he is trying to win for the club.

Sadly a lot of fans will boo him just as they do McClean. It is a ridiculous thing to do and is very counter productive.

I hope the new contract and buy-out clause will clear up any ambiguity and SB will know that in January or the Summer if a club meets a minimum valuation (I guess that means a minimum amount in cash) then he will be allowed to leave. I just hope he scores lots of goals up to January and then Spurs, Man Utd or other come in and take the ungrateful and petulant child away from us.

In the meantime he will get even more cash to fill his bank vault and fund his jet set life style.

If he was to announce that he will use this extra money to pay the salary of a couple of McMillan Nurses in order to give something back, then I might actually like to shake his hand.
