Another twist!!!! Spurs are claiming their final bid was £25 million cash.

Someone is blatantly lying and for everyone concerned I think the truth must come out. Maybe we should get together with the Spurs fans and demand we are told the truth. I would suggest there must be a paper trail for a deal of £25 million.

Time for Levy and Peace to put up or shut up, with whoever has lied resigning. That would be an interesting debate to watch, maybe a TV special lol.

£25 Million cash with 5 minutes of window remaining. Spuds were told the price mid August. Not JP`s fault they didn`t offer earlier. DD Whistle Whistle

Agreed they should have come up with it earlier, if they did!

But that is not what Peace is saying. He states the offer was £5 mil up-front with the rest in instalments and add-ons, which is why he turned it down.

Other reports say that the last bid actually came in just before three, which sits nicely with TP leaving the club just after three.

I just want to know the truth, as I assume so do many others.

Quote from Levy...
"Firstly, there is hardly a transfer concluded across Europe which doesn't include staged payments," Levy said. "This is particularly so when significant amounts such as £20m-£30m are involved – players don't come cheaply these days."

I think that now clears everything up!

If Berahino has got anything about him at all he should be desperate to play and try and force his way into the England Euro 2016 squad a few question marks over other strikers, its a great chance for him if he knuckles down!

Isn't it possible that Saido's tweet was meant exactly as he typed it? As in he will never play JP, such as financially trying to get a good deal as JP will always win (as Curtis Davies mentioned).

The media immediately assumed that he missed out the word "for", which of course is possible, but it might just be that he was simply commenting on how Levy played JP and lost, and he wouldn't do the same.

He was obviously upset hence the comment about the club's treatment of him, however he may not necessarily have been refusing to play for JP.

Does this lad have no common sense whatsoever. I know I never got to live like this if I have ever been on strike.
