Yes, I agree Snoots. But surely you see what I mean. Beefy's means that he has 2 chances of predicting the result. Not guaranteed admitted, but a 2in3 chance, as opposed to 1in3.
The Arsenal v Spurs example I gave however, really is guaranteed though. And there's numerous others I can think of.
No matter what the score is, Town wont be top of the table. Guaranteed 2pts
As Wakey highlighted a loophole in Matchday1, this is also a loophole that, in fairness to all, should be closed too don't you think.
You do know that there aren't any cash prizes for this game, don't you? If that's the way you want to play it, or Beefy in this case, it's only 2 points. I could copy all your predictions exactly and get off the foot off the table if I wanted.

The is being used for most for obvious things to guarantee points, so in lieu and to keep up with the leading pack I will now follow suit and predict things a bit less 'random'...

It's a bit like our prediction leagues own version of FFP. Those who abide are at a distinct disadvantage. I know it's only a bit of fun. And I know there's no cash prize. (Still can't believe there's no cash prize! ). But if we all do the same, we may as well have no at all. And we all love a don't we!
Not meant personally towards Beefy, just saw an injustice, and had to speak up, like the nosey cantankerous old bugger I am.

My take on it is, if someone's so desperate that they have to do something like a "can't lose" badger, then let them. The rest of us can point and laugh at the saddo's. It's like Wakey's 11-11 score or whatever it was - he only did it once just to show it could be done, then played by the spirit of the game ever since.
Just in case anyone hasn't noticed, THERE ARE NO CASH PRIZES! So anyone who "cheats" - honestly, have a word with yourself and grow up FFS!
Save the random !
No cull here!
