RE: HTFC Prediction League - Matchday 12 - JUSTASILLYOLDGIT - 23-09-2014

Ere Snoots. Can I suggest there should be a new Badger rule. No final result prediction as your Badger.

Eg. Wolves 0 - 1 Bolton  Badger Wolves to win after I predict them to lose again (Effectively two different result predictions.)

Some clever soul could say....

Arsenal 2 - 0 Spurs Badger But I hate Spurs, so they'll probably get at least a point. (Guaranteed 2pts)

We all do that, and our poor old Badger may as well be culled with the rest.

What do we think?  Huh

It's not guaranteed points though. The Beef Baguette tried it last week and they drew. So no points there.

Yes, I agree Snoots. But surely you see what I mean. Beefy's Badger means that he has 2 chances of predicting the result. Not guaranteed admitted, but a 2in3 chance, as opposed to 1in3.

The Arsenal v Spurs example I gave however, really is guaranteed though. And there's numerous others I can think of.

Badger No matter what the score is, Town wont be top of the table. Guaranteed 2pts  Big Grin

As Wakey highlighted a loophole in Matchday1, this is also a loophole that, in fairness to all, should be closed too don't you think.  Thumb up
