Bring Nolan and Barton in, they are on free's and not earning a crust at the moment. They'd kick owt that crosses the halfway line over the stands. Footballs, players, referees, the lot.

Loan out Hiwula for the season to Wigan. Bring in Emyr (God knows how you spell it) Hughes. Then get in winger mustapha caryol. Presumably this means lolley will go even further down the pecking order. Am I the only one tearing my hair out at the fact we still haven't signed a fooking centre back or right back? Is Hughes arrival in pre-emption of butts departure? I'm struggling to see why we needed two more midfielders.

Perhaps the idea is to field 11 midfielders. They can't defend or attack of course, so perhaps Powell's secret plan is to play keep ball for 90+ minutes and get a draw?

We had a shedload of midfielders last season, enough to field 0-10-0 and stick a few on the bench. Heading back the same way then?
Barton has gone to Burnley so that is one less we can get but does that mean Arfield is now available for a loan? Not that we'd know where to play him.

I can understand Carayol coming in because we need completion in the wide left area and we now have strong looking wide options in Scannell/Lolley, and Bunn/Carayol.

Not sure about Huws and after been out of the game for so long, it will take him a little time to get that match sharpness back. I cant see him being a replacement for Butterfield so he's competition for the likes of Whitehead and Hogg. Not really sure how good he is to be honest but would be nice if was a Coady type of player. We need that bit of composure and forward thinking player in there to compliment Butts.

I'm slightly surprised that Hiwula has been moved on after spending a decent wedge on him 4 weeks ago but obviously not up to it this season. Still think we probably need another quality CF, RB and CB to compete. Certainly the latter 2, and with some PACE!

Vaughan linked with moves away , which is to be expected but would leave us short in the striker department with Hiwula being loaned out
Lolley also linked with a move away , this i cant understand at all, and as far as i am concerned hes been a wasted talent and id rather have him in the team than Scannell who cant cross or shoot

Apparently accepted an offer for butterfield. 3.5mil. So much for the no less than 5 eh deano?
