Transfers
I agree with that, struth. I'd only add that it's probably justified for him to put in a transfer request if he was made a promise that they'd sell him if a bigger club put in an offer and he feels they've reneged on that.

He appears to want to come, and Hibs appear to be adament on not selling, which i understand, to a point, so why push the costs up when we dont have funds to spare. Sure if Celtic had come in it would have been a different story. I am not so sure he will be such an improvement that he is worth chasing to the point of possibly damaging his career at Hibs. I have to say, I do not like players handing in a transfer request to try and push through a deal. It smacks of disloyalty, and if he can do it once, then he can do it again.

Agree with that Struth.....especially the bit about disloyalty. Having said that as it is his boyhood club lets hope when he arrives at Ibrox he is still enjoying it after the honeymoon period is over and if he continues to progress the lure of bigger money elsewhere doesn't cause him to shaft Rangers.

He will have learnt an important thing about contract law.......hopefully his agent will ensure any things promised are put in the new contract. Some businesses you can get away with word of mouth .....football isn't one  Doh
"FOREVER UNITED"
Hearing Rotherham have offered £400k for him.
Leeds apparently also showing an interest.

He will have learnt a lot about Hibs and the way they do business, and because it's gone public so will a lot of other people. This doesn't paint Petrie/Dempster/Stubbs in a good light at all, IMO.

Got to catch him first Fred  Big Grin

Rotheram bid rejected.......thought to be 100k more than Rangers offered......    Huh
"FOREVER UNITED"
At least that means Gers bid has to be above that then,so £400,000.01 it is then.
